Naismith drafted into Scotland squad

Well done to Steven Naismith, he deserves this call-up as he has had a impressive season (18 SPL goals), and as a result, Rangers and a few other top clubs are chasing his signature and want him in place for next season. Shame Scott Brown has had to withdraw from the team for the Faroes game but I still think we should be confident going into this game. I will accept a 1-0 victory, although i would like to see us win by a few goals as this will help goal difference.

The SPFA's young player of the year, Steven Naismith, has been called into the Scotland squad for Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier in the Faroe Islands.

The 20-year-old Kilmarnock player earns his first call-up to the senior squad following the withdrawal of Scott Brown and Russell Anderson through injury.

Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has also been brought in as cover after Iain Turner pulled out injured.

Lee McCulloch is hoping to shake off a knock he picked up against Austria.

Hmm I'm not too sure about this. A few young players have got a cap for us then they think they've made it and get worse.
