Default Erlend Hanstveit?

Looks like he's coming to us..I have to ask though, who is he, and is he any good?!

The father and agent of Erlend Hanstveit has paved the way for the Brann defender’s move to Championship side Wolves.

The 26-year-old Norway international has been the subject of a bid by Mick McCarthy’s play-off chasers and Per Bjarte Hanstveit admits his son would relish a move to England.

“Wolves are a big club and we’d obviously be interested to hear what they have to say,” said Hanstveit senior.

“It’s flattering that they’ve made contact.”

Brann's sporting director Roald Bruun-Hanssen told Bergens Tidende: "It's correct that we have got a request from Wolverhampton regarding Erlend.

"Among other things, they have asked permission to talk to Erlend and we have given them that.

"Erlend has been loyal for us, we don't want to stop him. At the same time, we have told him that we want to extend his contract."

Thanks

He has been a good and decent player in the norwegian league through the years.

He was a very hot talent in the beginning of this millennium, but he never reached on the highest level.

However, he is 26 years old now, but is not in the Norwegian squad. He was on a trial at Werder Bremen in 2006 without getting a contract too. I've seen him play several times live and I like his style...but good enough for Wolves? Well, he will not do a bad job in the Championship and maybe he will get a breakthrough there.
