Not everyone is familiar with the finances of all teams. Some people strictly care about on field matters and don't care about the finances at all. I didn't care/know much about the financial aspect of the game until a few years a go...and i still don't care that much. If you're a multi million dollar company...it takes money to make money. So, spend it!!!!

@ Beninato...Trim is just letting us know of the updates. Some people don't visit the German forum, so letting us know updates is appreciated. Double posting is good in this case.

Seems Fabiano wouldn't mind a Roma move...
Quote:
Agent: Sevilla's Fabiano wants Roma move
tribalfootball.com - June 17, 2008

Roma are set to land Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.

The Brazil international's agent Jose Fuentes told Corriere dello Sport: "I have been in contact with Roma for some time, he will be proud to wear the Giallorossa jersey.

"It is not true that he has renewed his contract, there is a buyout clause of £10 million."

Roma primed to strike loan deal
Roma are ready to take United striker Louis Saha on loan with a view to a £7m move to Serie A. The Italians want to be sure of Saha's fitness before sanctioning a permanent deal for the injury-plagued France striker whose Old Trafford career has ground to a halt following a series of injuries. Ironically they are also looking at United target Luis Fabiano who is expected to leave Sevilla this summer. Sir Alex Ferguson had the Brazilian watched last season, but Fabiano's agent Jose Fuentes has hinted that he may prefer a move to Rome where fellow countrymen Alexandre Doni, Rodrigo Taddei and Cicinho all play for last season's Serie A runners-up.
Staff reporter, Daily Mail

daily mail says we are on to saha, great player but a snow flake.i dont know if we want to take him to rome just to nurse him all season long.but since it says a "loan" we can assess our option then if he can stay fit.

seems united are linked wth fabiano too, but i dont think united are interested in him

Saha?

And how many games has he played in the last two seasons?

He's far to injury prone nowadays from what I've seen.

I'm surprised he hasn't been given a chance at Roma to be honest, he's always looked promising.

4 or 3.thats why its speculated that it might be a loan, wch if any club is going to have him should do.he cant stay fit but a waste for a good player.imo he should retire its just plain freaky.

Here' some news about some transfers......

I don't mind Loria as a backup...with Ferrari gone and the addition of Riise and the return of Andreolli...finally, the back line is somewhat stable.

Quote:
The Giallorossi only yesterday captured Liverpool full back John Arne Riise, and they are now set to further strengthen their backline.

The 31-year-old Loria had the best season of his career last campaign at Siena, and has been attracting the interest of a number of the top Serie A clubs.

Roma have been involved in negotiations over the past week or so, and according to the Gazzetta they have now come to an agreement over a transfer deal.

The Roman-outfit will sign Loria along with Siena’s Brazilian goalkeeper Arthur, and as part of the exchange will hand the Tuscans the second half of promising young midfielder Daniele Galloppa's contract, as well loan them one player out of Antunes, Gianluca Curci, Edgar Alvarez or Ahmed Barusso.

Loria will replace Matteo Ferrari, who is a free agent and is likely to find another club before the start of the 2008/09 season.
