That would be good...Roma need to start making real investments in players and build this team.

Possibly Rosina to Rome? I don't think this will happen...he would be a great fit for Roma, but i just don't see it happening for some reason.

Rosina is an excellent young player who would be a great pickup for Roma.

If they do indeed sell Mancini, then they could use that money for Rosina. And maybe have a couple million to spare.

Giuly has been hot and cold this season...but i wouldn't mind him as a sub. Adds depth to the squad.

Roma's Giuly warming to Galatasaray move
tribalfooball.com - May 08, 2008
Roma winger Ludovic Giuly is attracting interest from Galatasaray.
Giuly is interested in the move, particularly as he has struggled for regular first team action at Roma since his summer switch from Barcelona.

and i wonder, they want him.if we do add a prominent figure of a winger then we might just cash in on him but until e have one he is good player to be having around in the squad.

You're team Man U want to steal Petrucci, Duke???
Quote:
Man Utd to poach Roma starlet?
Friday 9 May, 2008
After Giuseppe Rossi and Arturo Lupoli, Manchester United have reportedly sparked another row over Roma youth starlet Davide Petrucci.
The 16-year-old striker is the top scorer with the Allievi Nazionali and a first choice for the Under-17 Azzurri squad.
British clubs have been accused over the past few years of poaching young Serie A players before they can legally sign a professional contract in Italy.
Despite the fact Roma do not legally need to give their youth players a professional deal with wages until they turn 19, they have made an exception to keep Petrucci under wraps.
The problem is he has refused the minimum wage offer of £1,000 per month and is taking his time to consider his options.
There are reports in newspaper ‘Il Romanista’ that Manchester United’s interest is behind this decision, which would include a far higher wage deal and a house so his parents can relocate to England.
In response Roma have taken a hard line and have frozen Petrucci out of training for the past three days.
It would be a similar situation to that of ex-Parma youth products Rossi (who went to Manchester United) and Lupoli (towards Arsenal) before they could be put under professional contracts at the Tardini.

I almost posted this in the United forum. But its not official yet so I let it go.If it is true...tragic that such a great team like Manchester United cant create their own players but instead start poaching off of others.
Im sure Senior De Rossi wont have any of this.Resign this Petrucci kid and get his head and feet back on the ground. What is he going to do with Manchester United?Look at Rossi. He was ignored by the under 19 and is reluctantly being chosen for under 21 because of his talent.I have no doubts that he would develope game experience if he stayed in Parma. The same with Lupoli(does he even play?Last I heard he was in Derby County...).Sad really cause if they stay with their clubs at least then they'd have a better shot at getting into the first time.Hell we need strikers so Im sure the youth department spent endless amount of time on training the young lad.Really sucks.
EDIT: Wtf is he going to do at Man U? Rooney and Tevez will be there for hte next 10 years it seems and are both young and world class.Big mistake heading over to a giant club like Manchester where the pressure of being a star is even higher...

not true on the producing part.we do have some very bright talents coming.frasier campbell, danny wellback are few to name wth wch have performed well in their loan spells.
if it is true, united are doing what others are doing only its early.take ronaldo, the dippers had the chance to sign for just £3m when he was 17 but they missed out on him.same here if he cant show his talent im sure he can break in any club in this world.
on rossi's case i would say a bit of patients would surely have landed him a permanent role at united but he choose to leave and he is still doing very good at villareal.
but all of this is still on surface and i belive this is just the press muling over the rumor for the season end.
