nah i dont think at his age giuly can expect too many regular place at a top club, unless he moves to a smaller club then that is possible.
its good to have him as a sub too wth the all the competition we will be in next season.

If Roma want to compete in three competitions, then we will need the depth to rest players for Coppa Italia and Serie A...He will be a massive boost to the depth if he wants a sub role.

I'm sure the salary will fall into the budget. But i agree, spending that much for someone to see on the bench...not smart. Unless he somehow could beat Taddei out...but i don't see that.

I doubt he could beat taddei out unless guily is going to turn into a goal scorer...or maybe they are planning for a mancini move sometime

Roma have sold interesting youth product Valerio Virga to Grosseto. Although only 21, he has already played for the Giallorossi in Serie A and the Champions League.

relax, he might have made it but there still plenty of youth in our programs for the future.clubs sell youth players all the time.they might seem like the one to break in but some times they wont make the cut.

Zampa blasts ‘strange’ Roma Wednesday 18 July, 2007
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini claims that Roma’s behaviour in this summer’s market has left him scratching his head.
The capital club are widely reported to be lining up a swoop for Rosanero defender Leandro Rinaudo, but the fiery Zamparini has revealed he is the last man to know.
“I keep hearing that Roma are interested, but they’ve given us no indication so far. Sometimes the Giallorossi behave in a very strange way,” the ex-Venezia patron moaned on Teleradiostereo.
Rinaudo made 25 apperances on loan to Siena last season as Andrea Barzagli kept him out of the frame for a place in the Sicilians’ starting line-up.
Despite a multitude of rumours it appears that Barzagli will continue to render the towering 24-year-old surplus to requirements.
“Rinaudo’s future isn’t linked to Barzagli’s, but we’re looking to sell him in a co-ownership deal. Atalanta’s offer is fair but there’s no agreement yet,” Zamparini concluded.

Oh no...Very disappoint that Virga has been let go. The kid had some real potential. He was very good in attacking as well. Damn. Ah well. Nothing we can do now.

Who is Zampa to criticize anyone in the league...Palermo was the team that everyone was scratching their heads too.

To be fair though he never would have got a game with Esposito and Giuly both coming in.
