It pains me to do so, but moved the Quagliarella thread here...we were all still in denial about it.

Bayer Leverkusen snap up Roma's Faty
tribalfooball.com - July 07, 2007
Roma midfielder Ricardo Faty has joined Bayer Leverkusen on-loan.
The young Frenchman has signed for Bayer on a two-year loan deal as part of the agreement which takes Juan to Roma.
The 20-year-old, who made 11 Serie A appearances and three in the Champions League last term, moved to the Giallorossi last summer from Strasbourg for £250,000.

No DONI future for Roma...i know Aaron just got excited, but not that DONI.
Quote:
Roma pass on Doni
Tuesday 10 July, 2007
Rejuvenated Atalanta forward Cristiano Doni has ended speculation linking him with Roma by confirming he will stay with the Orobici.
The 34-year-old enjoyed a revelatory season at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia netting 13 times having returned to Italy from Mallorca last summer.
Doni’s exploits sparked suggestions that hometown club Roma may sign the ex-Bologna man as cover for next season, but agent Paolo Conti has revealed that no formal offer was made.
“There was nothing concrete from the Giallorossi,” he told Teleradiostereo 92.7. “We know that Roma rate him very highly, but he will be staying at Atalanta next year.
“We are now considering talks with the club regarding extending Cristiano’s contract which expires at the end of June 2008.”
Roma will also not be making a move for the unsettled Valeri Bojinov, according to sporting director Daniele Prade’ despite recent speculation that the Lupi were lining up a bid for the Bulgarian.
“I can assure you that we have no interest in Bojinov,” he stated on Firenzeviola.it.

Have the other Doni playing in net in the doni we have in that right now at least he would make an attempt for the ball when they get shot toward the net is probably less flat-footed than our keeper.

that is really the only way he's going save anything. It weren't for luck Doni probably wouldn't be able to stop anything..

I like Doni. He's made some really great saves for Roma. Sure, he fcuks up now and then, but ultimately, he's a decent player.

I don't like ARG either. If i had to choose a team other then Italy/Canada....i would go for any underdog. URG was close to winning. I rather see ARG win though. But if Brazil win, it will be good for Doni confidence and good for Juan.
