It would be a good situation. We get Quagliarella and Curci may get more action as well.
-----------Totti
Mancini Perrotta Qualiarella

Mesto is very good. Pick him up ASAP before Lazio does.

A replacement for Mancini maybe.....?
More likely a replacement for Chippen, he'll be backup.

There hasn't been an official word over Wilhelmsson if he went back to Nantes. I think he may of.

Last time i heard, Roma may of signed him. guess they let him go. But i agree, i rather have Esposito then Willy. I think he's a great player, but didn't fit in too well here.

Keep in mind that the 7.5 million euros (actually 7.3, it appears) was only for half his registration, so that any club trying to buy him outright would be looking at at least 15 million.
Udinese have the potential to be quite interesting up front next season, with Quagliarella, Floro Flores and Di Natale. I don't think that they will miss Iaquinta that much.

Your right Skeeta. They will have a decent offensive team with those three.
Sounds like Quagliarella will stay with them.

Udinese rule out Quagliarella sale
tribalfooball.com - June 28, 2007
Udinese sports director Pietro Leonardi insists they won't consider selling striker Fabio Quagliarella this season.
"We want to end the talk about a departure for Quagliarella from Udine," he said. "Tomorrow we introduce him to the Udinese fans and we do not want to again field questions about Roma or anyother clubs wanting to sign him.
"He will not move from Udine and he won't do so for one reason, for respect of Udinese and its tifosi.
"Roma has never tried for him, ditto the others. We go forward with him and he is happy for playing with us.

Officially OVER! What a waste of time this thread turned out to be. So much promise and so much expectations. Disappointing.

We can invest in someone different. Not sure who though. Di Natale? He could be a second choice to Quagliarella.
