Perrotta also seems like a great guy as well. A person who gets along with everyone in the locker room. I would think Quagliarella would have a bit of arrogance to him. Or is it just me?

No i think he will have a bit, just because he knows people want him...but at the same time i think he knows hes young, and hasnt yet played on one of the top teams in the world! All good players have a hint of arrogance...im sure totti did too. Its not a bad thing unless it effects your play/sportsmanship/team.

I mean after he scored that goal from halfway, he said for everyone to expect more from him and that he would score different goals all the time. I would be happy for scrap goals, as long as they go in.

I'm pretty sure Roma just inquired about his availability. A team should inquire about all players who can be available or else they are not doing theirs jobs correctly.

Money talks...but Roma don't have money, so i guess they are quiet
Quote:
Fabio Quagliarella is edging closer to leaving Sampdoria after Udinese - who co-own the sought after striker - revealed their intention to cash in on him.
Quagliarella is currently one of the hottest properties in European football after scoring 13 times for Sampdoria last season and impressing with a brace on his first full international start in a Euro 2008 qualifier earlier this month.
The 23-year-old's form has been so good that Manchester United, Milan and Juventus are all believed to be tracking him, with United leading the race after having reportedly tabled a £10 million offer last month.
And Udinese general manager Pietro Leonardi gave the clearest indication yet that the former Ascoli and Torino marksman is on his way elsewhere, as long as the bid is high enough.
"We have revealed we want to find a buyer," Leonardi said. "We are starting from the assumption that we have to cash in at this moment in time.
"We are in agreement with Sampdoria that if we receive a good enough offer, the player will be sold."
Quagliarella signed for Sampdoria from Ascoli at the beginning of last season and his goals since - most of them spectacular - have seen him emerge of one of the brightest prospects in Italian football.

This rumour seems to have arisen from a throw away remark of Spaletti's, whose real focus was on trying to drive up Chivu's price ("he feels he is a Roma player in his heart" and letting the world know that he is getting married.
Complimenti, Luciano.

Amelia doesn't seem like he will come to Rome...
Quote:
Palermo ahead of Roma for Livorno's Amelia
tribalfooball.com - June 19, 2007
Livorno president Aldo Spinelli has revealed Roma are on the outer in the race for goalkeeper Marco Amelia.
Spinelli is establishing a close relationship with Palermo and insists he'll give the Rosanero priority for Amelia over Roma.
"Palermo remains first-choice," said Spinelli. "There's Roma, but also other clubs that want this player."

Ya, i feel like Quagliarella is slipping away as well. Maybe Roma should make a move for Cruz if they fail to get Quagliarella
First Iaquinta...then Suazo, now maybe Quagliarella...Di Natale/Lucarella seemed to have gone no where. Who's next? Cruz??? If we don't get Quagliarella. I would like to see Roma look at Rosina again. He's 100% a future star!
