Ya thats basically what we keep saying...roma expreses interest in every great player that was available this summer...but then bam there goes vincenzo, bam there goes natale bam there goes michele...i mean commmon enough is enough if your going to show interest get real with it make an offer...i think we have done that with quag...but i think what he is trying to say is make an offer to buy him...co owning him is not enough

Quagiliarella or Lucarelli...I mean we really shouldnt try to over rate Quag just because he scored two goals for the Azzurri and say he is a miracle...which is exactly what Manchester United are doing

Spalletti Confident On Chivu, Hopeful On Juan, Quagliarella

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti spoke about Christian Chivu, Juan and Fabio Quagliarella.




The future of Christian Chivu is set to be decided in the coming days, as talks with Roma over a new contract near an end, one way or the other.

Coach Luciano Spalletti is hopeful of a positive outcome, having spoken to the player lately.

"I have spoken with him, and he has confirmed to me that he identifies himself as a Roma player," he said.

The transfer of Brazilian international defender Juan from Bayer Leverkusen is said to be close, and Roma have also registered their interest in Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella.

Spalletti was unwilling to divulge any details, but insisted that promising players such as them fitted in well with Roma's philosophy.

"We will see what happens, though Roma are always very keen on young players," he said.

ok now thats a an assuring news on quag mainly.im glad spalletti is showing deep interest in him proves we are really after him.all left to do is table a proper bid not the loan or half of his contract crap.

im confident he can be big for us, has the time in his hands and if he comes spalletti can make him in to even better player.

Good point Blud. The real rated player should be Bianchi. 18 goals this past season. He's young and can score. Quagliarella only has 13 goals. But the press labeled Quagliarella as the new Italian savior. I rather the hype slows downa bit on Quagliarella, then Roma make their move.

If I remember correctly, Roma's interest in Quagliarella started during the last few weeks before the end of the season...

United only want him because of his 2 goals

Roma already had a genuine interest and deserve it more than United, although we need to have wider options than just one player
