He's definitely going but I don't think it'll be to Roma.
|
he is nearing 30 right???well if he thinks top clubs would take the risk on him compared to 24-28 year olds he might be wrong.
we could sign him but im a little jittery on the thought of having more and more old players but then again his experience in cl could help us.
divided really divided on him.

As a player, i think he could do well with Roma. He's good at moving forward with the ball so he would be a good fit. Only his wages may be a problem, as i think Inter may be interested as well. Even though Figo is staying.

Palermo president: Lazio, Roma want Caracciolo
tribalfooball.com - June 13, 2007
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini admits he doesn't want to completely lose want-away striker Andrea Caracciolo.
Zamparini said: "Caracciolo leaves Palermo. He is working with [sports director] Rino Foschi for his sale, but I would want to keep him in co-ownership because I think we have invested a lot in the player.
"Sampdoria, Lazio are interested in him, but also Roma and Torino."

Roma to trump Fiorentina for Semioli
tribalfooball.com - June 13, 2007
Roma are moving for Chievo Verona winger Franco Semioli.
After admitting yesterday that talks with Fiorentina had "stalled", Chievo sports chief Giovanni Sartori revealed: "Semioli to Roma? It could happen, even if they're not the only team which is interested in Franco. There is also Palermo, two foreign teams and Fiorentina."
Roma are willing to offer Stefano Okaka on-loan in part-exchange for Semioli, who is rated at £4.5 million by Sartori.

He pretty much the last choice now...with Lucarelli and Di Natale. Our main targets have been taken from us. Suazo and Iaquinta.

Quagliarella to stay at Udinese?????
Roma are apparently making a move for Quagliarella...but will have to compete with Man United.
What do you guys think of the deal? Too much, too little?
We can move this to the Roma Calciomercato if it falls through.

United prepare Quagliarella bid Thursday 14 June, 2007
Manchester United are preparing a £10m offer for Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella, according to the British Press.
The Blucerchiato, who is half owned by Udinese, scored 13 Serie A goals for his club this season and impressed for Italy with a stunning brace in their recent Euro 2008 qualifier against Lithuania.
The Daily Express claims that the Reds are ready to pay £10m for the 23-year-old, as they search for young blood up-front after Louis Saha underwent knee surgery which could rule him out for six months.
Udinese and Sampdoria have allegedly already agreed to leave Quagliarella in Genoa, although Blucerchiati general director Beppe Marotta admitted that a high offer would be taken into consideration.
“We can’t make any evaluations now, but we want to keep him here, also because of the excellent relationship we have with Udinese,” stated Marotta.
“We would only consider letting him leave if we were to receive an extraordinary offer,” he added.
Meanwhile, Roma are also following Quagliarella and might ask Sampdoria to buy their half of the player’s ownership, offering striker Mirko Vucinic, young goalkeeper Gianluca Curci and cash in return.
The Blucerchiato, who would join Francesco Totti and Amantino Mancini to form an impressive attacking department, could reportedly be offered a £1m-per-season deal by the Giallorossi.

You've got a chance but you'll need to cough up the cash, not just offer them a couple of players.
