As a replacement for Mancini, Tavano can fill in. And Tavano can help out in circumstances where we are down a goal, and provide some offensive spark. But only of we get him on another free loan. If we have to pay for him...i rather we pay big for Rosina.

Free is perfect...just have to pay his salaray. I think that can be arranged with Valencia. We have to wait and see. But i think Spalletti prefers Vucinic over Tavano for some reason. We saw more of Vucinic in the final weeks rather then Tavano.

I think it has to do with more in training and how Vucinic may have that bit more of intensity in his game when he did play. Honestly, i rather they both go, but for free, i would pick Tavano to sit on the bench and look at the sky.

Roma in list of clubs in chase for Quagliarella.

Quagliarella's box of tricks
Saturday 9 June, 2007
Fabio Quagliarella is the new Azzurri hero and told fans to expect the unexpected. “I’ll never stop surprising you! Each goal will be different.”
The Sampdoria man has made his name by scoring spectacular goals in Serie A this season and took that to international level with two crackers in the 2-0 victory over Lithuania.
“It was Walter Novellino who taught me to start out wide in order to reach the goal. Now you always need to invent something new, because the opponents study your tapes hundreds of times to figure you out,” said the 23-year-old.
“So I try to surprise them. I always want to create something new and never score two goals alike!”
In the case of a lob from 40 metres against Chievo with his back to goal, that is very likely an accurate prediction.
All these incredible strikes have put Quagliarella on the radar of every top European side including Inter, Roma, Juventus, Manchester United and Liverpool.

I think Roma will be the ones who are in most desperate need of a striker. As the other clubs aren't in as bad shape.

Juventus ace Camoranesi invites Roma offer
tribalfooball.com - June 08, 2007
Juventus midfielder Mauro Camoranesi wants a move to Roma.
"Things are not okay, we are in total disagreement with Juventus," said agent Sergio Fortunato. "The difference between the financial offer and what we are asking for is significant.
"Roma would be an excellent alternative, he can play in all the midfield roles. He would also find three World Cup winning teammates that he has an excellent relationship with, including Francesco Totti.
"The Giallorossi captain had already invited Camoranesi to join Roma last year, but in the end the move failed.
"Camoranesi is mainly disappointed with the way Juventus are treating him, he doesn't like it at all. We had already fought with the club last year after the demotion, but the player then agreed to play in the Second Division.
"However, now we believe that the men who accepted to stay in Serie B should receive recognition for their decision."
