Not really. Nani is very lazy, he has been left out of some games because of that and his play is very inconsistent.

Nani needs to play at least 1 more year in Portugal until he goes to another league, otherwise, he'll be a fiasco

Welcome to the site...Glad your a Roma supporter! Spalletti will decide this summer who he feels will best suit the style. We will only have to wait and find out. But more then likely, Roma will acquire an Italian. Recent stories have had Roma associated with Italians.

This guy Nani doesn't look anything special to me. Had the chance to watch him twice when we played Sporting, he didn't look anything special, just average.

I've heard good things about Nani but I don't think Roma need more attacking midfielders.

Default Roma inquire about Quagliarella

Sounds like Palombo will stay , but Quagliarella may be on the move. Samp will most likely go for the highest bidder. Hopefully Roma can match Inter and Milans offer.

Quote:
Sampdoria chief: Roma have asked for Palombo, Quagliarella
tribalfooball.com - March 27, 2007

Sampdoria sports chief Beppe Marotta has revealed Roma have asked for Angelo Palombo and Fabio Quagliarella. Marotta said: "(Roma sports director) Daniele Prade has asked me for information on Palombo and Quagliarella, two players who in an obvious way interest Roma. The situation of the two players is different.
"Palombo has recently renewed his contract until 2011 and he isn't interested in leaving.
"Quagliarella is in co-ownership with Udinese, we would be prepared to sign him, but there is still some things to sort out. And beyond Roma, he appeals to the big clubs like Inter and AC Milan."

Default Papa Waigo rejects Roma

Takes courage to turn down Roma...but to each their own! Playing time is very important!

Quote:
Papa Waigo: I rejected Roma
tribalfooball.com - April 12, 2007

Cesena striker Ndiaye Papa Waigo has revealed he's turned down Roma. The Senegalese forward said: "Roma have been in contact, but I turned them down because I need guarantees about playing regularly.
"Beyond Roma, I have also had contact with two other Italian teams, Palermo and Fiorentina, and also Real Betis from Spain.
"But for now, I just want to focus on Cesena for the rest of this season."

He was class a Verona but seems to be doing even better at Cesena.

He'll be in Serie A soon enough.

We beat them 2-1 in the Coppa Italia then 2-1 in the league.

he is good as you guys say, he should not worry about playing time, coz that is decided by you a "player".

you make the decisions and create playing time for your self. heroes are born not because they have the name "hero" but they create a name for themselves!!

"heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things"...
