He'd be a good signing for Roma.

This is great news for Roma.He would definitely solve your goalkeeping problems. Not too sure how long he is contracted to Livorno and how much he would cost though. If you could get him and keep Curci, you will have solved that department of your team for many years.

He was great at the Olympics and U21 European Championships. Pivotal in fact.
Don't like how they single him out as the 'only promising keeper' in Italy though..Antonio Mirante's a fine talent too.

This sounds vaguely familiar. Blame the keepers, when the Roman shortcomings are actually the team itself, and its apparent lack of anything to do with defending.
Defense is a team attitude. Its up to everyone.

our defence isn't that bad.
But we have had weak keepers.

Mido wants Roma return
Quote:
Mido wants Roma return
Egyptian international Mido would welcome a return to Roma according to his agent. “He would happily go back if they recalled him,” claimed Mino Raiola. “There was the possibility of bringing Mido back to Roma at the beginning of the championship, but the club said no. Rosella Sensi was categorical: the player does not appeal to them.” The striker is currently on loan in the Premiership with Tottenham Hotspur and has scored 10 goals in 30 appearances for the club. “I am not in agreement with Rosella,” continued Raiola. “For me, Mido is as strong as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adriano.” The agent does still see some hope for a return to Rome though. “Things have changed at Roma, Luciano Spalletti is a great Coach who would get the best from Mido, I defy him to find another forward like him who is available.”

Would you give him another chance? He was plop in his first stint, but he is a talent..

I still dont rate him very highly, he has done well with spurs but he does miss a fair bit of chances too he gets. Spurs have been linked with that Udinese striker which would be a good signing.

the pressure is defenatly huge it all depends if he is ready mentaly. i think he is good enuff. especially since nonda is either injured or on the bench and montella is probably done for the season. we are left with okaka and totti as "forwards", that is if you want to lable totti a forward and not an attacking midfielder. i would definatly take him though since well he is on loan and we wouldnt have to pay a fee in the summer. but doesnt his contract expire in the summer?

Yeah, I think Roma should definitely take him back, and sign him!

Roma need him right now. He's a talent & it wouldn't cost them a dime. Don't know what his relationship with his fellow players was like in Rome though... could be the reason Sensi is being so strong on this.
