Whoa...thats a bold fucking statement there Are we talking about right now?Or Career wise?Montella is lethal when fit.I remember him in his Sampdoria days and Roma back in the late 90's, early 2000.The dude was scoring every other game.
Crespo is a box striker but he NEVER scored 4 past a Nesta in his prime...let alone a hatrick in 30 min

now, yes crespo is way above montella, but career wise montella has a more glittering rep.
any way crespo is ahead of montella on the reason he looks after himself better then montella, wch when u are nearing that certain age is very very crucial.and thats what differentiates crespo and montella now.

Montella looks very uninspired when he plays....he lacks that strikers instinct that he had years ago. Montella is a legend, but he can't carry on like this. Go to MLS and finish the rest of your career there.

Adrian Mutu reveals just how close he came to wearing the Roma shirt this season. “In future Fiorentina can fight for the Scudetto.”
The Romanian was in advanced negotiations with the Giallorossi after the two clubs agreed upon a £18m deal this summer, but it collapsed at the very last minute.
“I had the Roma jersey in my grasp and went so very close to making the move, but then…” he told the Corriere dello Sport.
“President Andrea Della Valle and Cesare Prandelli were instrumental in turning down the transfer, but above all others it was me who pulled the plug.
“I decided to stay and, although Fiorentina are not able to win the title this year, I am absolutely certain things will be different in the future.”
The Viola opened up their Serie A campaign in a 1-1 draw with fellow dark horses Juventus.
“I don’t think Juve can get the Scudetto either. Fiorentina can fight on a par with Juve and Roma, which to me already seems like an important achievement,” continued Mutu.
He missed that game due to an elbow injury sustained on international duty, but is ready to resume with the squad.
“I am so much better now and my fitness levels are alright too. I count on being there for the game with Napoli and the trip to Lyon for the Champions League.”

Im glad Mutu didnt come...he didnt pull the plug on shit, it got pulled out from underneath him...this guys is a whiney little bitch who wants to look cool by saying oh i turned down roma...it wasnt that daddy said i couldnt go..it was all me i make the decisions here....come on we all know thats the true

You're right...he's a dick. Totally contradicts himself. He and his agent agreed a contract with Roma and an 18m transfer fee. He's just trying to earn back some respect from the Viola fans...
Imagine if Mancini agreed a deal with Inter and the transfer fee with Roma.....then Rosella stopped it from going through. The fans would be booing his ass all season.
Mutu is in no position to bash Roma...at least they aren't on DRUGS!!!

Ya im more satisfied that we got a player whos only going to bet better, and can still help us win the scudetto this season. Not to mention the buy out clause which is brilliant!
