Roma cannot afford to finance a new stadium. You're better off renovating the Olimpico. It will be cheaper, and u can split the cost with Lazio.

About the running track: YOU GUYS ARE MISSING THE POINT!

Let's have a quick tutorial:

Q: What is the name of the stadium?
A: Stadio Olimpico

Q: What does Olimpico mean?
A: Olympic

Q: What do Olympic stadiums need?
A: Adequete facilities such as a field and running track

Q: Would it make sense to put this in an Olymopic Stadium?
A: Yes

If you still have questions, ask Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay:

dude, ive been to that std O for ages.believe if there were to be a next Olympic in my home land it wont be at std o.yes its historical but ist glory days for Olympics are over.its more transformed to a football stadium.thats why we need that tracks off.

the donkes sharing the cos???.they would rather see us liquidated then share anything.i really would be happy if either us or them built a new std.

As Duke stated, the Olimpico was not built for Roma/Lazio. They inherited the stadium.

Bobo...no one is disputing the fact that the Olimpico should have a running track...that was the sole purpose of the stadium. But, the new stadium, which will likely be owned or part owned by Roma....will/should not have a running track bc it's sole purpose will be design for strictly soccer, not Olympics.

I don't understand you're tutorial...as we all know why the Olimpico was originally built.
