If Roma lose Mancini, or if he is gone already.....then Roma will switch formations I feel, and having another striker is important, meaning I see Totti playing in behind in the trident.

Which is where he plays best in my opinion.

Roma just need some decent strikers.

Hmm... I'm skeptical. He's only really had one great season in a top league, one of the reasons for that was because Sevilla ended up setting their play around him.

The guy has alot of talent but, if this move happens, needs to make this work because he's been at two massive clubs since that great season with Sevilla and has flopped (badly in some cases).

£9.5M is a big risk.

He is a big risk and as Real Madrid follower with 'argus eyes' in Baptistas period in the spanish capital, my inlay about the champagne says it all.

Baptista hasn't shown anything since his days at Sevilla. Roma cant afford to make a £9.5M transfer mistake.

It seems unlikely that Roma will take such a huge gamble on the player.

The Giallorossi have a salary cap of €2.5m and €24m seems a target too far for the club's transfer kitty to stretch to.
