Anytime you make an offer for a player that exceeds 15m...you have to look at the long term effect. Roma can't afford to waste 15m+ on a player around 30...other clubs can, but Roma can't. Roma need to do what we did with Cassano...and what Milan did with Pato.
it's called long term investments!!!

Ya, i agree...and im probobly getting a litlle ahead of myself with the podolski thing, but wouldnt he be a great long term investment?

absolutely, he is a true class player for the german side.some one who can take us places.frankly i think bayern is too corded for him they have a good depth, if he is too leave i hope we can snap him up before any of the big fish comes along.

I don't get it....Roma got around 30m fro Uefa for last seasons CL...12m from Inter for Mancini. And all we;'ve done is sign Vucinic for i think 8m...and brought in Riise and Loria...where's the rest of the transfer kitty?? Has Rosella bought a new Ferrari???

i even doubt we evn will sign that some one....its back to 0 activity, ffs we need to snap out of the mutu thing.so what the bid failed, we still have saved freakin £18m.
now is the time to reavluate other stars in the peninsula and bag go in wth that money and get our man, not weep for mutu and his shitty ass.

thats a reasonable price for him.not more nor less(tho less would also be good  )
lets hope we can snap him up before any french clubs coem along, like psg been collecting all the odd players here and there.
