I have a bit of hope...anything can happen. I won't give up just yet.

Roma's Panucci: Inter Milan will win Scudetto
tribalfooball.com - May 15, 2008

Roma defender Christian Panucci believes Inter Milan will beat them for the Scudetto this Sunday.

He said: "The Scudetto will be won by Inter. But we are happy to be able to still play for a chance to beat them for it on the last day."

Here's some scenarios...

Quote:
Scudetto
Inter win if:
a) Inter beat Parma
b) Roma fail to win at Catania
c) Inter match Roma’s result

Roma win if:
a) Roma beat Catania and Inter fail to win at Parma

Champions League
Fiorentina qualify if:
a) Fiorentina win at Torino
b) Milan fail to beat Udinese

Milan qualify if:
a) Fiorentina fail to win at Torino AND Milan beat Udinese

Relegation
Catania stay up if:
a) Catania beat Roma
b) Parma fail to beat Inter AND Empoli fail to beat Livorno
c) Catania draw AND Parma fail to beat Inter

Parma stay up if:
a) Parma beat Inter AND Catania lose to Roma
b) Parma beat Inter with six clear goals AND Catania draw with Roma

Empoli stay up if:
a) Empoli win AND Catania lose AND Parma fail to win

Nice words from Conti...

Quote:
Conti: Grazie Roma!
Sunday 18 May, 2008

Roma are ready to celebrate whatever the result of today’s Scudetto battle, according to club legend Bruno Conti.

A victory in Catania and Inter failing to beat Parma will crown the Giallorossi as Campioni d’Italia, but even if that doesn’t happen there is a feeling of elation around the side.

“This squad needs to be thanked for an astonishing achievement,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Roma were 11 points adrift of the leaders in February, but have almost completed their comeback to be within a point of Inter going into the final round.

Many of their supporters see this as a victory in itself, especially considering the difference in budget and resources between the two clubs.

The Lupi also went further than any other Italian side in the Champions League, reaching the quarter-finals, and are in the Coppa Italia Final against Inter on May 24.

“Whatever happens, we want to thank the team anyway,” smiled Conti.

The Roma fans have been banned from travelling to Catania for this afternoon’s game – which will be shown live on Fiver at 13.45 – but crowds of supporters went to Fiumicino airport on Saturday to see the players off.

There are reports that the fears over public safety and the relatively small and unshielded directors’ box at the Stadio Massimino have discouraged Francesco Totti and the other injured players from making the trip.

They will, however, be waiting at the airport for the team’s return to celebrate the end of a memorable campaign.

Fantastic goal from Vucinic.

As of now you're Champions.

I don't trust Inter...they didn't play the typical Inter first half...i think they will throw everything at Parma in the second half.

Roma can only do their best to get this win...out of their hands now.

Catania scored.....the Roma players obviously know the score in the Inter game.....terrible defending. But, they have nothing to play for now.

well im not gutted nor sad coz i know roma have come way way far then what we did last season.

well congrats to inter, i knew the moment ibra was in the squad that he will lead them there.thats how important to have a handful of proper strikers and this should be a lesson learnt for our "sensi's" since that is the only piece missing from our squad.

get us a striker and next season we will notch the wins that have slipped away from us this season.well on the coppa now!!lets beat them and defend our cup!!forza roma!!!!!!
