Businessman Danilo Coppola has confirmed he is interested in buying up financially troubled AS Roma.
The 37-year-old property magnate has recently bought up 3.2 per cent of investment bankers BNL for £117m.
“It is true that I have ordered a full appraisal of Roma’s books with an interest to buy,” revealed Roman native Coppola.
This will be the stumbling block though....At the last appraisal, AS Roma had debts of approximately £170m and Sensi is asking for at least £275m in order to buy up the side.
There will be a shareholders’ meeting on April 16 in which the capital will be raised by £103m, a move that should in itself tempt investors.
