Carew considering Roma future
John Carew is considering his future at Roma because of the financial crisis currently jeopardising the club.
Carew is on loan at Roma from Valencia, but his agent Per A. Flod admits that he has to be pragmatic about a club that cannot afford to pay wages.
"Of course we are unsure," said Flod, who admitted that suggestions the Roman club would make a permanent bid were far from being realised.
"At first we were promised that it would be cleared by February 1.
"Now we have arranged a meeting for March and I will get in touch with them in the next few days.
"Just now they don't have the finances in place to buy."
Roma are currently in talks with a Russian Oil company over a possibly buyout that could reduce the debts at the club.

Carew needs some time, as he still lacks the qaulity finish, to be considered a top striker. I personally like him, and I think they will sign him, as he adds another dimension, to their attack.

hmm, i wouldn't be too gutted if we didn't sign Carew, but then he would be a useful addition to the team.

He seems to look like one of those players who plays good one time here and there and then slacks off for a little while and then plays good again and so on and so forth. Who knows maybe he will be a good thing for the team on the bench.
