He's a good guy and if he plays with continuity then he will regain his azzuri call ups. His injury scares me a bit since Ramusso (sp?) had a big injury and we're taking a bit of a gamble on both. Non the less he's good cover for Mancini or taddie...He'll get his chances to impress.

Ya, he will. But his goal scoring has suffered the past two years. But he will be a good sub player. I don't mind him. Spalletti will whip him into shape.

Good pick up. I got a chance to see him play a couple years back when Italy played Serbia Montenegro in Toronto. He's tiny on the pitch but he's one of those tireless runners, never gives up on the ball. I also remember some nice feeds to Lucarelli.

Well he's versatile anyway, he can play on either wing, as an AM or as a support striker.

Roma have denied that Cagliari winger Mauro Esposito has signed for the Giallorossi in a co-ownership deal.

The player, who was already paired with the capital city club last summer, was reportedly set to leave the Stadio Sant’Elia after President Massimo Cellino admitted that an agreement had been finalised.

“With regard to the news released by the Press, we wish to highlight that the two clubs have not reached any agreement over the player at this date,” read a note released by the Giallorossi.

“No deal has been struck on a joint ownership of the player and, as a consequence, no agreement has been finalised with the footballer himself.

“Esposito remains an interesting objective for the club and the technical staff, along with other players, and Roma will inform the market of any future developments in any negotiation,” continued the statement.

Cellino had stated that he had not had the courage to say no to Roma’s offer, as the former Italy international was eager to be given a chance with a bigger club.

“He told me that he would have remained at Cagliari for life, but it wasn’t possible to refuse a possibility like Roma and I didn’t want to say no,” the Rossoblu chief explained.

CH4 screwed up on this one. Maybe they will seal the deal in the coming days. I wouldn't mind seeing Curci loaned in this deal...give him some playing time.
