[#77] Cassetti: We're at 75 per cent
Some very nice words by Cassetti. Roma should re-sign him. He's been a great asset to Roma n filling in many roles this past season.

Roma's Cassetti rules out Lazio switch
tribalfooball.com - June 19, 2007

Roma fullback Marco Cassetti insists he wouldn't consider a move to city rivals Lazio. Cassetti remains in co-ownership between Roma and Lecce and has been linked with Lazio this summer.
However, he said: "I couldn't consider joining Lazio out of respect to Roma. I want to stay with Roma and would be very disappointed if they chose not to re-sign me.
"I can't see myself playing in Serie B next season with Lecce."

i really like Cassetti. He was great for Roma this season. Whenever a player was injured, he stepped him and filled the role effectively. He was not superb., nor was he terrible. He got the job done well. Good pickup. We should keep him.

He seems to be loyal to the shirt. Great to have players like that who give everything for Roma.

With all the players who want to leave roma for better money and all that jazz...have some people here who really want to be here and fight for us is nice!

Roma have a strong, united group. You can see it especially in their goal celebrations last year and this year. They all jump on each other. Great stuff.

Cassetti rules out Lazio Wednesday 20 June, 2007
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marco Cassetti has underlined that he would never join Lazio if Roma fail to keep hold of him this summer.
“Signing for Lazio is something that I would not do – even if I were to receive a great offer,” said the accomplished right-back.
“I couldn’t do it, out of respect for the Roma supporters. I will wait and see what happens next with me but I hope to be there when next season’s team is presented officially.”
The 30-year-old joined the Giallorossi from Lecce in a co-ownership deal a year ago and is hoping that the capital club reach an agreement to buy out the remaining 50 per cent of his contract.
“I want to stay here, both [Coach] Luciano Spalletti and [sporting director] Daniele Pradè know this,” added Cassetti.
“I have an excellent relationship with the Coach as we have never had any problems. I think I did my best last term and I adapted immediately to my new environment.
“That is why I don’t want to return to Lecce and I am not considering any other options.”
Meanwhile, Saint-Etienne striker Pascal Feindouno will not join Roma this summer, his agent Fabrizio Ferrari has confirmed.
“I don’t think there is much of a chance that we will see Pascal with the Giallorossi,” he noted.
“It is my understanding that they have other transfer objectives. It is a pity as I think he could have been useful to Spalletti’s tactics.”

Great words by Cassetti. Roma management love to heard words of dedication by our players. He will stay. Spalletti can count on him to give 100% every match.

Words are that Roma have secured the rights as they have bought him from Lecce. Should be confirmed soon. But i'm not 100% sure.
