Thats what i mean by F'd my goal is to win the scudetto next season, its only the next logical step after taking 2nd place and the CI i want to compete in CL too but i want a scudetto as well...and without another quality striker...we cant compete...we cant expect totti to as good or better then he was this season...which means we finish prolly lower then we did this season because Serie A is going to be more competitive this season for sure
|
aaron is right, the next step for us is not aiming to finish as high as possible but go for the scudetto even though we know next season will be tough.

Vucinic was far from recovering when we got him...but Vucinic was available for nothing, so Roma took a chance.

He's healthy...

Roma doc gives Barusso all-clear
tribalfooball.com - June 17, 2007
Roma doctor Paolo Mariani has given new signing Ahmed Barusso the all-clear.
The former Rimini midfielder broke his leg last season, but came through his Roma medical with flying colours.
Mariani said: "After the first orthopaedic examination, he is a healthy athlete. Roma asked me to verify his condition. As for the athletic and muscular situation, that was looked at by other specialists and I heard there was a positive response.
"There were concerns that the fracture of the tibia and fibula had also created lesions in the tendons, but all doubts on this matter were swept away by the tests."

Plus hes young...young guys get hurt and bounce back really quick..even if he were injured...almost any injury he could have would be gone by the end of the summer...obvioulsy not like a broken neck...but you know what i mean

Vucinic suffered a career threatening knee injury, Barusso's was just a bone break.
He'll be fine.

It's sounded VERY familiar to Totti with the "healthy athlete" but i was too lazy to search. May it is, sorry if it is.

Ya, he should be fine. He will obviously need more rehab and gain his strength and accuracy..but he has the entire summer to work on that.
