Default 2nd half Of the Season:Spalletti ready for 2008 tests

Spalletti ready for 2008 tests Sunday 6 January, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Luciano Spalletti is raring to go as 2008 brings Roma challenges from Inter, Juventus, Milan and Real Madrid.

“Our New Year’s resolution is to give more joy to our great President Franco Sensi and the fans, who we saw in 2007 celebrating when we brought home the Coppa Italia,” said the Coach on Sky Sport Italia.

“I would also like to keep improving my squad, eliminating some of our little foibles. It will be important to take full points even when we don’t play the champagne football that has made us famous.”

This has been a real problem, as many of the seven points that separate Roma from leaders Inter were lost against smaller clubs where results have to be ground out.

“Inter have proved they are very tough and mature. The players have developed a team mentality that carries on regardless of who is in the line-up,” continued Spalletti.

“Juventus will be in the Champions League again next season, as they have players of quality who are ready for a fight and that can make the difference.

“I think Milan will also finish in the top four. They have had problems in Serie A up until now and been quite unlucky, but they play great football and at the end of the day will have enough points to be in the important spots.”

Roma had perhaps the toughest draw of all the Italian sides in the Champions League, as they must face Real Madrid in February’s second round.

“It will be an even game,” assured Spalletti. “Roma’s characteristics are capable of stopping any opponent. Real know how to play with quality, but Bernd Schuster has also given them balance and substance. Today Real are a complete squad.”

2nd half, as usual spalleti knows our main weakness wch even a mule can see since its been repeating over and over again.wonder whn will the players earn see it.

Forza roma and lets push inter all the way!!
