CL MD3: A.S Roma - Chelsea [22-10-08]
md3 looms, and we are not at the best condition now both physically and psychologically.
tho i did detest the game wth inter, but i want us to do well i every match.
lets start by taking back a good 3 or 1 pt to olimpico.

Spalletti: We are the enemy Tuesday 21 October, 2008
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luciano Spalletti warns Roma they should focus on their own performance, not on how to close down Chelsea.
“It will be a very important game, but more than focusing on Chelsea, we have to look at defeating our own demons.
“Our opponents are our difficulties. We know what they are and already identified them last year. We've got to put them to the wall and fight them.”
Morale is desperately low after a dreadful start in Serie A and the Champions League, including Sunday's 4-0 thrashing by Inter.
Little is expected of them at Stamford Bridge, but Spalletti is eager to keep his players concentrated.
“I want to continue seeing a relaxed approach in the locker room. If the lads are able to understand their potential and react with calm, then they will react strongly to recent events,” said the Coach.
“Chelsea are one of the world's most important clubs and have one of the best tacticians in the world.”
Spalletti's main problem this season has been in terms of injuries, although Francesco Totti and David Pizarro are back in the fold.
“Simone Perrotta has a slight fever and we'll have to see how he is feeling before the match. Juan will be monitored for some muscular problems. Max Tonetto is still feeling some pain.
“I will be very careful in my choices. I hope the lads have clear in their minds what is the best approach.
“We often discussed closing up the team and not leaving so many gaps between the various compartments. We need to be attentive.”
There is already a major advantage from the Inter defeat, as Christian Panucci and Philippe Mexes return after sitting out that match with a ban.
Roma squad: Aquilani, Artur, Julio Sergio, Brighi, Cicinho, De Rossi, Filipe, Juan, Loria, Doni, Menez, Mexes, Montella, Okaka, Panucci, Perrotta, Pizarro, Riise, Taddei, Tonetto, Totti, Vucinic.

we lost 1-0, tho it didnt feel that of a loss as the grp is still open wth cluj loosing.
but our stuttering start continues.we were holding great up to 77' when we lost it a bit and that cost us the 1 pt that was there.
