I like Brighi, a former Juventus player.
He could be useful as a squad player.

Why not...Roma need the depth. We played Faty and Rosi in a CL final eight game with Man U....you know there are problems with depth when that happens.

Quote:
Chievo midfielder Matteo Brighi will return to Roma once his loan expires at the end of the season, but he may not stay there for too long.
The Italian has spent the last three seasons in Verona where he has refined his potential and he’s now keen to make his mark with the Giallorossi.
“One thing is certain and that is that he will return to base,” noted agent Vanni Puzzolo. “I’ve spoken to Roma and there seems to be an intent to extend his contract.
“Brighi would certainly like to be a part of the Roma squad next season. He’s 25 now and is keen to play at the highest levels in Serie A and on the European stage.”
Nevertheless, the representative has admitted that Brighi would have plenty of options open to him if space proves to be limited in the capital.
“There are a host of mid-table sides and lower who are ready to snap him up, clubs like Fiorentina – he’s wanted by practically all the clubs in Serie A,” added Puzzolo.
“Roma would never give him out on a full loan now even if he may be included in a player plus cash transfer with somebody else.”
Brighi, capped once at full international level, was snapped up by Juventus in 2000 from then Serie C2 club Rimini.
Yet he never really left his mark in Turin and was loaned to Bologna, Parma and Brescia before being included in the transfer which saw Emerson leave Roma for Juve in 2004.

Either:
1) Sell him (we could use all the money weve got to buy a great player)
2) Use him as backup (because of our infamous sub choice)

He's good enough to be a squad player in my opinion.

I say sell him or use him in a part of a deal if possible. Or loan him out again!

Roma have already said that they won't be loaning him out again, either you use him now or he's gone for good.

You can sell him but you won't get much.

How much do you think he's worth? or better yet, how much would a club pay?

Nothing more than a couple of million.
Personally I think he's underrated and he's good enough to be a squad player for Roma.

but if what you say is true...we could keep Brighi for one season...build him up...show his talent to the rest of the world. That way, his price tag will go up.

But how much playing time will be get? Cassetti has played well for Roma when he had his chances, but not enough for his value to increase that much.
