Okaka close to Bologna Wednesday 9 July, 2008

Roma striking starlet Stefano Chuka Okaka is closing in on a move to newly promoted Bologna.

The promising predator spent last term on loan in Emilia-Romagna at Second Division side Modena and is now looking for regular Serie A football.

“Stefano would like to go to Bologna – he really likes that option,” agent Domenico Scopelliti told Laromasiamonoi.it.

“The problem is that the two clubs have to come to an agreement. However, I can say with certainty that the player would prefer to be in Emilia-Romagna next term.

“There will be a meeting in Milan at the Ata Quark Hotel in the week to clear up the situation and if a deal is reached Okaka will be wearing a Bologna shirt.”

Bologna are also being linked to American striker Freddy Adu and Palermo youngster Edison Cavani.
