When we lost out on Iaquinta and Suazo, i had a feeling Vucinic would remain. Roma will play with Totti upfront again and he will be excpected to score 20+ again. Vucinic will come on if we are down a goal or to rest Totti. Let's hope we sign Quagliarella. We need to compete with Inter, Milan...and Juve look to be very strong as well.

If we dont get another striker, we arent going to compete with anyone. Totti isnt going to score 26 goals again im sure...id love to see him try but i dont know if he can.

He won't miss as many penalties i can guarantee that...he will be in top form coming into the season and his confidence will be high as well. Not like last season.

I see him in the same role as he was this season. Maybe start games whrn we are approaching a CL game and give Totti a rest. But i doubt he will play along side Totti. Ony when Roma are down a goal or two.

Now, he will have no excuses for not scoring due to his injuries. He will come into the season at 100% and should contribute. He started to show some progress at the end of the season, but that may of been due to him trying to impress Spalletti.

I mean i find it hard to believe that a once 20 goal scorer cant do the same only a couple years later givin the oppritunity! I say play him quite a bit at frist next to totti and see what happens. If it blows then take him out and use him as a 20 min sub....if it works then spalletti ends up looking like a genius!

I'm pretty certain that Spalletti wants Totti upfront by himself next season to utilize our mid fielders. But i wouldn't mind seeing Totti behind Vucinic and see how it goes. Maybe in the friendlies they will try it out. Hope so.

Im game...he did get better towards the end of the season and his CL goal was top class..it goes to show his potential..if we could get him to play even half as good as he used to hed be one of our better players

Problem is that he won't play every game, unless Spalletti changes the formation. Which it looks like he isn't because he didn't get a top striker yet. So Vucinic will have to do well at the chances he gets.
