Roma stuck by him, even after his ban for 6 weeks and poor form after that. Now he's an established top defender. What's great is that he's still so young...25 years old. We will have his services for years to come

Most other clubs may have dropped him...if Capello was still in charge, after the ban and lack in form, he would have been out...but thank goodness that two timing, backstabbing son of a b***h is gone

Don't think he will stay at Roma, unless it's free on loan.

Lecce chief: Vucinic, Cassetti want Roma stay
tribalfooball.com - May 13, 2007
Lecce sports chief Guido Angelozzi has revealed they'll meet with Roma at the end of this season to discuss the futures of Mirko Vucinic and Marco Cassetti.
Striker Vucinic and fullback Cassetti are both on-loan at Roma this term and Angelozzi said: "They want to remain with Roma.
"At the end of the season we will meet with the Roman club with which there is a key relationship regarding market. We clearly could not bring them back to Puglia because also next season we will be in Serie B."
Angelozzi also revealed that AC Milan made a serious move for Vucinic last summer, but the youngster "had no doubts, he loves Roma".

Maybe for Milan's youth club!!! Vucinic had so much potential from a great season at Lecce. But turned into a "regular" striker. Shame his injuries put a damper on his career.

Sampdoria, Genoa move for Roma's Vucinic
tribalfooball.com - June 13, 2007
Roma striker Mirko Vucinic is set to move on this summer.
Sampdoria and newly-promoted Genoa are chasing Vucinic, who was restricted to a bit-part role at Roma last season.
The capital club are making Vucinic on-loan for next term.

Vucinic will do well if he went t Genea. Not have the pressure to preform like he did at Roma and he able to start every match. He needs to restart his career and get goals if he hopes to get a move to a big club again.

Just like what he did with Lecce the season before Roma signed him. I think he got 19 goals that year.
