I think he will be a little cautious after it gets removed. It's only human for one to be worried of an injury right after surgery. I think he will be a little reserved until he gets a few games back in him and restore his confidence level. Would you guys be cautious after taking plates out...i know i would.
|
yep that would be a human alright.he will get back to his usual self once a few games went by and all the system are tested

They will probably use the stitches that dissolve after a few days-a week i think. And also it will take take for the skin to fully heal. It would make sense for Totti to remove the plates in the next couple weeks, but i guess the doctors recommend that he do it 1 year and 6 months after the operation. Shouldn't it be a year tops? If he does it in the next 2 months, he can fully recover and be 100% for opening day and play in the Azzurri gfames in Sept. This way he risks not playing, no?

maybe the September date was due to the nature of his injury at the first place.i mean maybe it was quite bad that the [plates needed to be there for that long for a complete recovery and trouble free in the future.

He suffered the injury Feb 19...it will be a year and a half if he gets the plates removed in Sept...but i guess things are going according to plan. The Roma doctors know what is best for him!

Oh i thought u guys meant he was having them out this week..Ya i think he should have them out like after the season is over...i think at that point he would be in good shape for the azzurri in sept...They could have reccomended they be in longer, because of the area...the ankle and wrists have so many bones and so many moving parts...Its alot different then breaking your arm or leg you know...My buddy broke his ankle almost exactly the same as tottis break in hs...he had a cast on there for months..couldnt leave the house, and had tons of physical therapy after...he still limps a bit i think.

Totti had rehab by tons of physiotherapists and got treatment by many doctors. That’s why he was able to return so quickly. Money talks. But, your probably right Vecchia, the doctors are probably being extra careful to avoid long term suffering for him.

It's ok Buldhaven...they are still nicely done though!
Totti banged in a brace today against Cagliari, bringing his total to 24 goals this season, with one game remaining!

Here's how the Golden Boot race is looking at the moment:
Alves (Herenveen) 34 goals (1.5 points/goal) = 51 points
Totti (AS Roma) 24 goals (2 points/goal) = 48 points
Van Nistelrooy (Real Madrid) 22 goals (2points/goal) = 44 points
