Coppa: Roma - Parma
Alright, watching the game, I hope its a good one.
Parma are playing in there third kits, all black.
Roma in there Red with white shorts.
Totti is playing, as both teams field strong lineups, to work out the winter long break.

Sheesh, Mancini scores on a little cheeky chip shot that sails over the keeper. Roma lead 1-0.
Roma have slight edge, we'll see if Parma can react to this setback.

Oh yes, I caught a glimpse of Mrs Totti, always worth the effort to watch a Roma game....

Well after the first five minutes, Parma have generated very little, and Budan is not playing unfortunately, so this Parma is not as strong as it should be.

Still nothing to show from Parma, their midfield is almost non existent.
They need some changes....

2-0 Totti goal, but the goal is really Mancinis...with his effort.
Parma can't do nothing in this game.

oooh, after controlling pretty much the match, Parma generate one chance in the second half, and it results in a goal....Spalletti is going bezerk with his players.
Away goal is huge for Parma, that's all they wanted it seems.

The away goal has kept Parma in the tie, had they not scored that then they would have been as good as out in my opinion.
I'm just surprised Roma put such a strong side out, especially with the CL coming up.

Roma coach just went ballistic with his club.
And Ferrari played, and I think he was the "goat" on the goal..IMHO.
Parma will attack at home.
Remember, the reasoning for all the strong lineups is that the coaches want their clubs to be mentally sharp for the start of Serie A.

That may be true but we're only a few days away from the next set of league games. Had Totti or Mancini received a knock I don't think Spalletti would have looked too clever.
Had they won 3-0 I would have given him more credit but a 2-1 win is poor under the circumstances.

In retrospect, I believe Parma were missing Budan and Morfeo.........

Yeah, neither played.
That was the smart move in my opinion.
