Default Spalletti eyes Pizarro reunion

http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/mar18e.html

Quote:
Luciano Spalletti has opened the door for a reunion with his Udinese prodigy David Pizarro, who is struggling for space at Inter.

“Clearly I would like to have Pizarro with me at Roma,” the Coach told Chilean newspaper ‘La Tercera.’ “He is a midfielder I admire a great deal and he could give a lot to a club like ours.”

The South American made the move to the San Siro in the summer, but has found himself on the bench more often than not as an understudy to Juan Sebastian Veron.

“I am not in a position to judge whether he should play more often and I don’t want to get into controversy with Roberto Mancini. He will have his reasons and I can only say that if Pizarro reached a big club then it’s because he earned that chance.”

Pizarro could give some much-needed creativity to the Roma midfield next term, when the transfer embargo is lifted and they can sign new players.

He had the best seasons of his career under Spalletti’s guidance at the Stadio Friuli, where they took Udinese to Champions League qualification.

And this is why Inter is the laughing stock of Italian Football. The buy players they do not need and then keep blaming themselves for it. Hilarious.

We needed pizzaro, who has come through for us in CL game and serie A games. When he signed his name, he knew that a starting line-up spot was not guaranteed, though he has played well, he has lost to veron who has done better.
There is no one else on our squad that can control the mid, distribute the ball besides Veron and Pizzaro. So if one goes down what would you do?
What was a better alternative than Pizzaro? Center mid is a very pricy position.

What other original creative takes on Inter can you throw at me? Is Adriano inconsistent? does Inter have to many argentineans? Its been 17 years, since our last scudetto? Moratti spends to much money? come on.

Pizarro was bought to replace Veron, as he was slated to leave next year, however now he is leaving.

Will get in the way of De Rossi's career unless De Rossi toughens up and becomes a full fledge defensive midfielder.

Hopefully so....De Rossi and Pizzaro together right now would be a little lightweight atm.

I suppose ultimately it could be a superb midfield.

What formation is Spalleti favoring when Totti gets back?

442 or 4231?

Totti and Mancini....wow.

Crespo would be a great signing for Roma.

I'd love Crespo, he's probably my favourite non-Roma player so having him would be incredibly cool

He would fit in perfectly imo...still one of the best (if not the best) finisher of his generation and his movement coupled with the supply from Mancini, Totti and perhaps Pizzaro would be unstoppable.
