i don't know what it is but it seems like everytime i hear of something being thrown onto the field and hitting something or to that extent it always seems to involve Roma and the fans. I swear they must have some of the most radical fans i have seen in Italy. Its a shame though it had to result to that.

I don't have a problem with Italy or Italians and have been to Italy to watch several football matches and even once went out with a beautiful Italian girl called Marcella who had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen apart form a body like Pamela Anderson.

I just think that The Premiership has overtaken Serie A and La Liga as the best League in the world and quite frankly the Italians and the Spanish don't like that. Our football is more entertaining and exciting in my opinion. In 1980 to 1994 I use to watch Italian Football like a religion and to me during that Period Seria A was the best in the World but over recent years things have been going down hill and even you would have to accept that the current goings on in Italian football is is not good. The list is endless and the fans seem to be staying away from the grounds.

Please don't take this the wrong way I am just expresing an opinion of how I see it.

entertaining and exciting = not equal to being the best

Of course, and I appreciate your posts, as I don't agree with everything you say, especially about Italian football, but make no mistake, you are one of the top posters on the site, when it comes to substance in his/her posts. Right up there, with The Rule.

Cantona has a right to his opinion. I personally think all the leagues have something that catch my eye. Serie A is number one for me, because I am Italian and my favourite team plays there. Simple as that...and I'm not going to bail on the league, because they are going through a rough patch, with financial difficulties and violence.

The only real problem I have with the EPL, is that there aren't enough South American stars on their clubs. Other than that, I watch the odd game and enjoy it.

Why limit myself, variety is the spice of life.

These problems are mostly isolated to the capital, with Lazio and Roma. Why? Only God knows.

The Romans have hot "blood", and not too mention they are the bad boys of Serie A.
