No way. I actually like Real Salt Lake.
Did you guys look at their jerseys and crests yet? Best in MLS by far.

Yeah -- I don't think it's as bad as everyone seems to making it.

Crew, Revolution, Wizards, Galaxy, Clash, Earthquakes -- I wouldn't call any of these great names. Some of them make me gag -- especially Crew and I'm a Columbus fan.

What I heard was that Rob Stone interviewed Keller as part of their broadcast last night. In it, Stone said to Keller, ReAl Salt Lake needs a new goalie, to which Keller just smiled big.

Let the rumors fly.

got this from a article the I like to pass it around
Make sure you get it right. The name of Utah's MLS expansion franchise is not Real Salt Lake. It's ReAL Salt Lake – capital R, small e, capital A, capital L. Why? Presumably so unenlightened fans won't mispronounce the Spanish (RAY-al) and say, "Reel." Club officials say that besides wanting the name association with Real Madrid, they are trying to form a partnership with the famed Spanish team. The similarities, however, figure to end there. Consider that Real Madrid paid four times as much for a single player last year ($41 million for David Beckham) as Salt Lake investors reportedly did to buy an entire MLS team.

All very true, except the disparaging comment at the end. Obviously this author has a beef with either RSL or more likely MLS. Probably some euro who thinks MLS is just something thats "silly American". Its not like ReAl Salt Lake is any "cheaper" than the rest of MLS.

BTW besides the ReAl thing, the official short form is RSL

ReAL Salt Lake is set to hire MLS senior director of
communications Trey Fitz-Gerald. He will work in marketing, communications
and business operations as an assistant to general manager Steve Pastorino.

Have to disagree. I think it's a great looking logo. Certainly better than the two clubs you and I support -- NE and Columbus.
