Marca: Benzema has signed
marca.com translated
Quote:
Karim Benzema is already a player of Real Madrid. As today's advanced daily MARCA, the agreement with Olympique Lyon would be a matter of hours and it has been closed after the entity that presides Florentino Pérez decided to increase its three million euro offer for the striker, to 35 million euros, and French club cede its claim in a top-40 million requested by the young footballer. Between today and tomorrow, Real Madrid will make its official incorporation.
The Lyon player, who will meet in December in 22 years, becoming the second quarter of the reinforcement phase in the Real Madrid president Florentino Perez after the signings of Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raul Albiol. Benzema is an old dream of Real Madrid, in the past had already shown their interest to sign the jewel of Olympique Lyon. Considered alongside Sergio Agüero as one of the greatest footballers in the world, had also attracted interest from other big clubs in Europe such as Barcelona.
The arrival of Benzema, on the other hand, seems to close the doors of Real Madrid David Villa, who two weeks ago was very close to white dress.

I know its in Marca so it has to be taken with a huge pinch of salt.

Winning the treble was the worst thing Barca couldhave done. Real are hell bent on not letting that happen again. I can't wait for the next season of La Liga to kick off.

The exodus of Real Madrid will be just as interesting as the spending - the likes of Arjen Robben, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Gonzalo Higuian and Rafael Van der Vaart wont be happy playing second fiddle to the Galacticos influx, and the big question is: where will they all end up?
