Madrid players in EC
Wesley Sneijder has got his really international breakthrough in the EC. Many asked questions when Madrid signed this expensive dutchman one year ago, but now he is one of the hottest players in Europe. The head behind 3-1 against Italy and 4-1 against France (the two WC finalists)
Arjen Robben - 45 minutes and one assist - one goal. Amazing speed and one of the best wingers in the world (when he is fit)
Van Nistelrooy - better than ever. He has developed since the United periode and have became a better teamplayer aswell.
Pepe - Has been amazing for Portugal. The first match were outstanding. Unkown for many before the Madrid transfer, now he has showen that he's worth every singel penny.
Casillas and Ramos - Not much to say after the first match....but Ramos did NOT an approved match IMO....but I reckon he'll raise.
I'm glad several of Madrids big investments have developed and showen good play. Its prove that much is right in the spanish capital. Calderon have created a young and exciting team who have won two La Liga titles on two years under his periode. Hopefully players like Higuain, Gago, Marcelo, Robinho will copy the EC heroes when it comes to develop.
