Oi, oi and oi
I almost celebrated when Henry scored, because I almost felt sorry for Barcelona tonight. They really got their ass kicked.
However, this was the final word to all the Wannabes in here that laughed about Calderons Capello - Schuster move and how bad Madrid were in preseason.
HALA MADRID, CHAMPIONS 2006/2007 and 2007/2008
Eto'o, cabron, salut el Champion

Text book ass whopping.
I didn't expect this to become 1 sided. I expected that if it were a winner, that it would have been a close game; like a 2-1 or A 3-2.
I never saw it coming. Barcelona had a horrible season (again) and expected them to play for their honor tonight. To actually try and give it their best effort.
But, sucks to be them. Conceded 4 goals. Against a long-life rival like Real Madrid. Lost to them twice this season. That's bad. They really need to do something about it.
Credit to Real Madrid. Brilliant game. Everyone, Everyone played awesome. Even the subs were really good. They didn't slow down the game or whatever. Higuain is really proving his worth. Good for him.
Saludos al Campeón de España.

What a miserable performance by Barcelona. I've never seen them get so humiliated. They were a little unlucky with the two first goals because of the poor decisions from the referee, but they shouldn't have any complaints after such a pathetic display.
Congratulations to Real Madrid, going into the history book again with style.

Well it was humiliation time and they did almost replicate the Valencia score, just the wrong way
A lot of Barca fans are being real babies about this and saying that it should have been 1-1 but I say Madrid fully deserved that and I think Barca need to keep their chins up and claw back some dignity and pride, there's little of that round at the moment for us.
The 2 glaring differences between the 2 sides is that one is a team and the other is a list of individual names. The other is that one team cares and plays for the shirt while the other one doesn't.

Actually as a token of good will I will give the Madrid forum this thread. Is that a nice gesture or cowardly? I'm not sure

Congrats to Real Madrid, they really humiliated Barca.
The only Barca player who was trying to get something was Lionel Messi.

i just have to say this, in the first goal there was a foul on marquez and the free-kick which led to the 2nd goal, was a clear dive, no foul whatsoever. also that penalty was a bit exaggerated, puyol was just too close to robinho, 90% of the times, that wouldn't be a penalty. so 3 goals which shouldn't have counted.
but, valdez should have been sent off and a penalty should have been awarded to madrid
perez bujo is known to be a shit referee, so not really a surprise.
despite poor refereeing, madrid were a far better team than barça and deserved this.
i guess laporta is now probably thinking that if he hadn't asked for barça tothrash madrid, would this result be as embarrassing for them? i think laporta's words fired up madrid's players, rather than motivating barça's.
on a side note, diarra pisses all over gago, tremendous performance yesterday, he was all over the pitch

The media in Spain have not focused on the referee blames either, not even the Catalans, because Real Madrid were so much better in every part and position of the match. Just Robben should've scored two more goals.
Its actually 17 points between Madrid and Barcelona today. Totally unacceptable for Barca, and I felt actually sorry for them last night, because they really got humilliated. This is perhaps the biggest and most hatefull match inside football, and Barca-Madrid are two of the biggest and best clubs in the world. So losing both matches to Madrid - who have 17 points down to Barca - is just a big nightmare for the catalans.
The thing is also that Barca HAD something to play for. They are fighting against the second spot, while Madrid already were Champions.
As Pat says, both teams have many great players and big squads, but Madrid are showing winning spirit and that they stand together as a team. They have also bought in the right players while Barca used a fortune on Henry....who they set as wing...because they had not space to him where he belongs.
However, Barca fans, things turn fast and things will be better. Three years ago and it was Real Madrid who were in Barcas shoes today. Next seasons La Liga will be tougher and more even, I'm pretty sure on that.
Hala Madrid!
Btw, I will NEVER forget the faces of Xavi, Rejkaard, Messi, Puyol last night after the defeat. Its like they had got their death sentence.

Well Rijkaard has just received his death sentence as Laporta has announced he will be fired before next season and replaced by Pep.
Rijkaard's last meaningful game for Barca.
