Looks like Madrid will definately be getting a no.9 for next season.

Huntelaar and Villa look the most likely at the moment.

The latest story is that Madrid offered 30m euros and Granero or de la Red for Villa, Valencia are playing hardball and want nearer to 40m euros.

Much rumours about Villa these days. Espesially in Marca, so I reckon Madrid-Valencia are in discuss.

Madrid have offered Villa a provisional 5 year and 5m euros contract if he does come.

Also an offer that Valencia are close to accepting is 30m euros + Soldado. May be the one they accept.

I'm not sure its a wise thing to bring in some big guns in the summer. Madrid have already a good squad with continunity and teamspirit. Big names and changes can destroy that.

Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben and Van Nistelrooy are dominating in the EC now. The same with Pepe. And Casillas, Ramos, Gago, Drenthe, Robinho, Higuain , Marcelo are players that hould been developed further.

Madrid - sell Soldado and Baptista and buy in Huntelaar. Garay was a great sign too and they should bring him in now and replace him with an injured Cannavaro.

fantastic player! not a typical scorer like huntelaar but he can do that also. he has everything except of physical strength, compared to europe...
I think villa would be a less risky buying but falcao would be cheaper and it can turn out nice... although they don't need another higuain do they?
