Default Real Madrid 3-2 Villarreal

The game will be on Sunday at 8pm English time.

Away from home Real Madrid won the previous league game against Villarreal 5-0. Villarreal will be out for revenge.

1st vs 3rd should be a good game.

Real Madrid have 16-0-0 at Santiago Bernabeu this season, and its time for a defeat and I think Villarreal will win tonight...or play draw.

Madrid will not play their best lineup. Pepe and Heinze are injured. Metzelder and Robben are far away from matchform after injures and Diarra is still missing. Saviola also injured while Sneijder have some problems.

2-2 or 1-2 to Villarreal is my bet. Its about time that Madrid will be defeated home. I don't think they can go much longer with just victories.

Villarreal are also in great shape and form.

villareal come to the match on great form [exactly like the time before.... 3-0 on valencia] but just like the last time they will get torn to pieces.

I don't like the situation that Pepe, Heinze, Diarra and Sneijder are missing. Robben is not 100 % fit either and Saviola is still injured.

However, its 1-1 between Madrid and Villarreal now (1st vs 3rd) on the table. Madrid are playing some good football, but it looks like Villarreal can take a point or three if they play pasion and have some luck.

Two beautiful goals between.

v entertaining match, i should have to see this one .. i shouldn't doubt rmd anymore, they always pull through. no one doubts in barca, yet they're the ones to slip up. atletico away, villarreal home probably two of our toughest la liga fixtures this half of the season and we get 6 points
most of our team played very well.. salgado played well I thought, much better than I expected. he got injured though.. we're fucked for defenders

we deserved to win this game. imo if robinho didn't take him down van nistelrooy would have scored that chance soon after the first goal, then we'd probably beat them 5-0 again

imo it was one of our best games this season. 9 points lead..

ratings

casillas 6 - I don't blame him for the goals but it's a shame his run was broken. he didn't make any world class saves and he looked shaky and fumbled the ball a few times, didn't make any real shockers but wasn't his best game.

torres 5 - didn't really notice him at all, except when he made a shitty cross or lost the ball

cannavaro 7 - his mistake in one of the goals i think, but other than that he was good. he's been much better recently though

ramos 7 - made a great run which lead to the 2nd goal, and was good all round

salgado 8 - loads of determination, made alot of good runs and crosses into the box, good movement and great work rate

gago 8 - made a nice pass for the 3rd goal, gave away a few unneeded free kicks otherwise he would got 9 (best game for him in a long time, better than having diarra in this match)

baptista 6 - not so good this game

guti 9 - great game from him probably MOTM his passes were awesome, great assist to robinho, and made a great pass to van nistelrooy after that

robinho 9 - another two goals, he gets better every game. a few wasted chances though but 2 goals you can't relaly fault too much

raul 7 - poor game from him, but made a few good runs

van nistelrooy 8 - frustrating, he could have scored, unlucky

subs

sneijder 8 - scores and great goal with his first touch and wins us the game, he gets an 8 just for that :P

gago also got his 5th yellow card. well done to diego lopez who made casillas-like saves despite letting three in

...And Real Madrid is winning, winning and winning...

3-2 tonight over 3rd place Villarreal.

17-0-0 at Bernabeu and wins against the biggest rivals. Impressing so far, Schuster!
