Agreed with what Pennywise and Podolski said ....
We weren't in our best. But anyway, we got all 3pts. That means that even if we aren't in our best, we are still better than other teams I'm glad for Casillas and Robinho

Hala Madrid!!

Default Van Nistelrooy: My Gesture Was Not Personal

For all of those who wondered :

Van Nistelrooy: My Gesture Was Not Personal

Quote:
Ruud van Nistelrooy has said that his gesture towards the benches after scoring Real Madrid's opening goal was one of happiness rather than aimed at an individual.

The Dutchman put los Merengues ahead against Real Zaragoza on Sunday and as part of his celebration made a signal that in Spain is less than complimentary.

Despite many searching for the target of his gesture, Van Nistelrooy tried to explain that it was just something he did out of relief at having scored.

"It was a gesture of happiness," he explained. "I was just pleased after the goal because they had had all the chances and with our first chance we scored.

"I know what the gesture means, but I do not have a problem with anyone, it was just because I had scored."

Madrid were not at their best and Van Nistelrooy admitted that while he was pleased with the three points it was not a vintage performance.

"It was very hard work. It is a win and three more points, but we did not play well to take them," he continued.

"They did very well at the back and the two chances that we had resulted in goals."

While Van Nistelrooy and Robinho hit the two goals, Iker Casillas earned all the headlines for a string of saves the keeper Madrid in the game.

"I am happy to have scored again, but it was an unusual game in which they had all the opportunities and Iker saved them," the former Manchester United forward added.

Goal.com - Barcelona - Márquez: Madrid Luck Is Nothing New

What he would have said if Barca have beaten Mallorca 4-0 ...

Doesn't he know that they played as shitty as we did ??

That's the mentality of Bacelona's players ...

Its impressing on how Werder Bremen have performed in Germany the last years. Bayern Munchen have always taken the best players because of their size and economy as they're 'the only superpower' in Bundesliga. But Werder have both win the legue and the cup, been in the CL and beat them several times...and today they are equal in the league. Bremen have small resources comparing to Bayern.

It's true, they play some impressive and attractive football.

They score a lot, but they concede a lot. A team who aspirates the league title can't concede that much.

As for the underlined part: When?

They've beaten us recently, but we always turned the favor. This season: twice / 4-1 & 4-0 (at their home).

We could be equal with them, but it's not lasting forever.
