Default Real Madrid 2 - Alicante 1

Second leg: 2-1.
First leg: 1-1.
3-2 to Madrid after the 2 games.
Scored to Madrid: Guti [92'], Robben [32']

A breathtaking goal in the last seconds. What an incredible shot of Guti.
That a third league team scored 2 goals against us and it's a bit embarrassing, but at least we moved to the next round ...
I don't understand why players like Salgado, Soldado, Higuasin, Saviola... didn't take their chance ....
Derenthe warmed up, but he didn't take part in the game !! I don't understand what is the problem with him. He's very talented and we mustn's loose him. Robben was ok(+), considering that he has just pulled through an injury. Balboa impressed me with some nice dribbling!! He makes some good fast pedaladas !! It's the first time I see him in action, I hope too see him playing more often.

Hala Madrid !!!!

The important thing for Barca and Real was to get through. They both have although they weren't totally convincing in both games.

Hopefully Barca and Real meet in the next round so we can knock them out

I had not cried over a knockout from the Kings Cup. IMO stupid to play both home and away so early in the stage...and injures with a hard schedule with La Liga and Champions League can happen. That's why the big guns are playing their second best players with some mixed key players.

Madrid will use Dudek and the bench players wider in the Cup, no matter what opponent, so I reckon they'll be knocked out if they get a good La Liga team.
