Default CL MD5: Werder Bremen 3-2 Real Madrid

Werder Bremen (4th, 3pts) vs Real Madrid (1st, 8pts)
Tuesday 28th November 2007, 20:45 CET
Weserstadion, Bremen, Germany

real madrid can assure first place in case of a win and will qualify with a draw also. while for bremen it is all or nothing, they must win both games left in order to still be able to qualify.

the most important news are that diego is suspended for this match. and what are bremen without diego? hugo almeida and Ivan Clasnic are also out of the squad, while abu-baker sanogo and carlos alberto return to the squad after their suspension by the manager for a fight lol.

real madrid come to this match after a disappointing draw against murcia in la liga, and will aim to get a point according to what the players said.
schuster left Michel Salgado and Javier Balboa out of the squad for tactical reasons. and he will miss also Gonzalo Higuain and Pepe who are injured, Wesly Sneijder and Gabriel Heinze were left in madrid also for completing their recovery. Roberto Soldado and Royston Drenthe are suffering from the flu and were left out aswell...
many players missing but most of the starters are fit.

probable line ups of goal.com:

Bremen: Wiese - Fritz, Mertesacker, Naldo, Pasanen - Jensen, Baumann (c), Borowski - Carlos Alberto - Sanogo, Rosenberg.

Madrid: Casillas - Sergio Ramos, Metzelder, Cannavaro, Marcelo - Diarra, Gago - Robinho, Guti, Raúl (c) - van Nistelrooy

I would watch liverpool-porto if i wasn't a rmd fan..
I think it will be a pretty boring match but i'll watch it anyway.. I think we will or draw because of our individual quality.. more Robinho

but I always chose watching matches of la liga team in the CL because they are the best IMO. even if I'm not supporting those teams, their matches are the best. and I like bremen too, but not without diego :S.
I guess I will be flip-floppin betwen the two channels.

bremen will be making a big mistake if they don't tell someone to stick to robinho's arse. but I don't feel he'll be good today anyway.

I just hope RvN and Raul don't score so they don't get too far from henry in the topscorers table...
