Real Madrid - Transfer Talk
I have become confused lately. . . some sports sites tell that Tevez is coming . . other sites says that Saviola is coming . . other sites tell that Toldo and other sites tell that Metzelder is coming . . . .
It has become really confusing !!
So who is surely coming and who is leaving ??

first, there is just no way tevez joins real madrid.
about the betrayor, he is very close, and I hope he ends up there, so we can show him hell.
toldo? I thought reina/dudek (I can't remember wich of these) has almost signed.

>> Every summer, Madrid is linked with maybe 40-50 different players, and noone knows 100 % for sure who will come and stay.
The only player that is 99 % ready, is Metzelder.
Many rumours about Tevez, but he has told (according to several papers) that he wants to join Internazionale. Then Madrid will not go for him.
According to Marca, Saviola, Toldo and Drenthe will be come to Madrid, but this is just rumours yet.
However, its a scary rearmament in FC Barcelona...and Sevilla - Valencia will also reinforce next season.
Things have been tough for Madrid after the title, but I hope we'll get the manager pretty soon and start buying some new blood.
Becks and Carlos are gone. Nistelrooy is injured, we need a new offensive midfielder central and players like Emerson, Salgado, Helguera should be replaced.
But Real Madrid have some young blood that I hope will develop this summer. Players like Fernando Gago, Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Ramos, Miguel Torres, Robinho, Marcelo, even Casillas and Reyes (if he stays) Cicinho can perhaps be developed more too, even he's not 20 anymore. Cassano? He will always be a coming star, hehe

Saviolla needs a chance and he will have it at Madrid !!
As he showed in the past , Saviolla has taken advantage of every chance he had (In Monaco and Sevilla), so i believe he will improve at Madrid and become one of the best strikers in the world !!

tevez wll be in arsenal or liverpool. that's what he said. after saying he would like to play for inter he said that he decided to stay in the EPL.
imo, going to serieA/la liga would be better for him, but if he is far from real I'm happy.

I guess you are scared of the fact that Tevez is linked to Madrid and I'm happy for that, lol
But talking isn't the best thing to do !! Because we need to sign new high quality players for the wings !!
To tell you the truth, I'm won't be so sad if Real won't sign Tevez, because I don't think he's better than Robinho, Ruud or Higuain ( sorry Raul ) !!

Transfers 2007
I'll try and update that thread above whenever there's a transfer confirmed. So far Real have signed Metzelder and are waiting for the manager to be confirmed to sign more players.

tevez to real is something that would ruin my life, lets say.
I watched tevez a lot recently and followed his career.. he is one of the best strikers in the world, imo, and with the best technique (not like robinho's technique, but an argentinian technique).
I think it's sure that tevez is better than higuain, higuain is still young and may develop but tevez is just a player that can win a match and even a cup(he almost won the last copa for argentina, being the MVP).
I hate ruud, that's unhidden, so I won't compare the 2.
robihno isn't a striker. he is much much better when he's on the midfield, tevez is good in both postions, better striker imo.
did you see his goal against USA ? what a goal!! he is quality.

Madrid Eyeing Saviola And Toldo
Quote:
Madrid Eyeing Saviola And Toldo Real Madrid's rebuilding programme is set to continue unabated with Javier Saviola and Francesco Tolodo linked to the club Tuesday.
Los Merengues may not yet have appointed a new coach, but that has not prevented a flurry of stories appearing in the press regarding imminent signings.
Bernd Schuster is the outstanding candidate to take over from Fabio Capello and if AS and Marca are to be believed, he is advising the Madrid board on which players to move for.
Saviola has just returned from a two-week holiday in Argentina and is now ready to find himself a new club after refusing FC Barcelona's offer of a new deal.
With Schuster known to be a fan of the diminutive striker, Madrid may make an offer for his services even though president Ramón Calderón ruled out signing him earlier this year.
With his mother travelling back to Spain with him, Saviola is waiting for the call to move to the Bernabéu, according to Marca.
After failing to win a regular place in the Barça team under Frank Rijkaard, the former Monaco and Sevilla goalscorer has refused to rule out a switch to the Blaugrana's rivals.
Instead of following up their interest in Liverpool stand-in keeper Jerzy Dudek, Madrid have now been linked with a move for Toldo at Inter.
While the 35-year-old maybe available on a free transfer, it his wage demands that have caused some raised eyebrows in the boardroom of the Spanish giants.
Calderón knows that a replacement for Diego López, who moved to Villarreal for €6m last month, is needed, but does not want to pay over the odds.
Whichever custodian comes in will be back-up to Iker Casillas and if a new signing proves too costly then the club may well to promote a player from their youth ranks.

Saviola looks 80% I think. Calderon yelled "WE WILL SIGN SAVIOLA!!!" and then made a backtrack and said that they've held talks. If Schuster is manager then Saviola will almost definately come I think.
I think a keeper from the Youth Team may be better than these older keepers although I'm not clued up on Madrid's youth keeper situation.
