Well why not? He's a winger - they want a winger. He's been linked with Atletico and Liverpool this season - and moves were distinct possibilities with those clubs. Madrid have the money and the influence to get him, and Quaresma is the sort of player they could do with if they failed on Robben - hell the guy may even be prefered to Robben.
And, yet again, it would be another opportunity for Schuster to piss of Barca, if Quaresma succeeded.

Don't be shitty mate !!
And don't reply only in order to have more posts !!
Any way, Mijatovic works secretly and AS tells that he's talking now with Porto's Bosses, who have interest in Baptista, in order to buy Quaresma. In addition, today Real made Chelsea new offer to buy Robben.

going to real will put him in hell. he isn't that stupid. a former barca player, will not play for real! end of. and if he wants to, then he will get what he deserves, quaresma knows that.
quaresma is perfect for real, and imo better than robben.
real is bad for him.
atletico or liverpool are much better places to go.

Well Quaresma had a really bad time at Barca so I don't think he's still holding much affection for Barcelona. He also said he'd never return to Barca if Rijkaard was still coach. He could well go to Madrid if Porto accept a Madrid offer. He's versatile on both wings as well and still young so he could be a very good signing for Real.

A diamond is a possibility as Schuster said that he wanted one attacking CM and one defensive one but he also said he likes wingers so a flat 4-4-2 is a possibility although with wingers like Robinho and Robben that would put them very wide and they wouldn't be able to cut in as much, Ruud very often plays best on his own as well. I think if they do play with 1 striker then they don't need 5 strikers like they've got so everything is confusing at the moment but for now the 4-2-3-1 is slightly more likely than anything else.

exactly. learn from the mistakes of the ones before you...
quaresma looks somewhat close to real, wich is very sad. I don't know wether he'll succeed there or not, but I know he will be hated as hell. even more than saviola for me.
I advise him to wait one year untill wenger comes to barca and he can return to his home that loves him.

Saviola moved within the last week and was applauded by Madrid fans. Is he just another very slow learner then?
They moved and had success, so learning from success rather than failure would be a more apropriate term. Besides Quaresma wouldn't even be moving directly between the clubs, and it's not as if he has any lve whatsoever for Barca.

I was talking as a barca fan. for us, going to real is stupid, especially if you're a former barca player. besides the barca fans, no one can see that, of course.
figo and the others may have succeeded more in real, but I'm sure figo was regretting the moment he heard real's name when that pig head was thrown at him I'm not saying that it would happen to quaresma also, but I'm sure he's considering that.

I guess that he started calculating how much money he'll get in one minute if he signs at Madrid
Any player who sees the money, wouldn't consider the fans' feeling.

And now the thing that was obvious has become official: Kaka won't move to Madrid. Goal.com - AC Milan - Kaka: "My Priority Is Milan"

Yeah but it doesn't matter !!
He don't have any contract with Barca's fans, and he doesn't owe them anything.
BTW, a football player needs money so he can live as a rich man even after he stretches out, and he can find this money only at Madrid not at Barcelona.

Iván de la Peña, la alternativa a Cesc y Kaká - SPORT - Fútbol
Another option for the attacking CM role is apparently Ivan de la Pena of Espanyol. He's 31 years old and used to play for Barca (seeing a Schuster trend in targets).
Although I'm a fan of Little Buddha this is very unlikely to happen, although it would be hilarious
