Canna is the one that have done most personal errors behind there this season. The reason while Madrid not have been that bad when it comes to goal against this season, is Diarra-Emerson as busboys.

Cannavaro has made mistakes but every mistake he makes is being highlighted to a ridiculous level. He's been unfortunate though because a few of his mistakes have lead to goals.

He's still adjusting and to be fair to him I think he's done well under the circumstances. People forget that he's still living in a hotel room with his wife and kids.

Pennywise is right error wise. Canna has made his fair share.

Joels point though was that Canna is a great leader and organiser. In other words he helps his team mates keep their focus. You could argue that he is taking his eye off his own game because of this.

The weird thing is that Cannavaro has done so many schoolkid errors so far in La Liga. Errors that youth and nervous players are doing. Not because of a bad organized defence, but personal errors.

Canna is not 28 anymore and he is playing in a very different league than Serie A. He also did a great worldcup, and you'll always get a decline. Only diamonds are forever.

I hope he'll stay fit and do a better job in 2007 for Real Madrid. Looks like he is happy in the club and city then.

If he continuing this perform, Madrid must play Cicinho - Ramos - new defender - Carlos rest of the season IMO.

Cannavaro has been in the best form of his career for the last two years. He was unbelievable for Juventus then had a nearly flawless WC. I agree that he was set for a decline after such a year but he's still the best CB on the planet. Age isn't an issue because he reads the game so well, I hate it when people question him just because he's 33.

Don't misunderstand me. Canna is not 28 anymore and sooner or later he'll have a decline after a majestic season with Juve and Italy in the WC.

I think it will be difficult to come back on that level, espesially in La Liga and for Madrid. But nothing more had made me happy if he did...and maybe he will.

Time will show.
