Default Diarra Stays Mum Over Real Link

http://www.soccer365.com/EUROPEAN_NE...9_116844.shtml

Quote:
Lyon midfield stopper Mahamadou Diarra has been rumoured as a summer Real Madrid target, but his agent isn’t saying whether talks have occurred.

The Mali star has also been linked with interest from the Premiership and Serie A.

“Have we spoken with Real Madrid? I cannot comment on that,” said Frédérique Guerra. “All I know is that Real Madrid need a top class defensive midfielder.”

“It’s obvious that Diarra is ready to move to one of the big clubs of Europe.”

According to some reports, Mahamadou Diarra have rejected ManUtd earlier this season because he want Real Madrid move.

He has also going several times in the media and told that he want to play for the Royal club in Madrid.

The AS journalist said to Diarra that "I see you in Madrid" and Diarra just showed his thumb up.

Some reports says that there is already a deal with Lyon, Madrid and Diarra, but why is all taken so long time?

The latest is that Mitjatovic is going to Lyon next week so we have to wait and see. I think there are many factors inside this transfer. Lyon want Ribery but they will not sell Diarra if they not get him or a good replacer.

We just have to wait and see. Either Manchester United, Real Madrid or staying in Olympic Lyonnais.

Franco Baldini has taken over negotiations for Real Madrid in their pursuit of Olympique Lyon midfielder Mahamadou Diarra.

AS says Baldini made a low-key approach for the Mali star on Tuesday, enjoying positive talks with his agent, Frederic Guerra, though finding Lyon officials less accommodating.

Baldini informed Lyon that Real were prepared to part with ?17 million for Diarra, though the French giants are insisting on nearer ?22 million before they sit down and discuss terms seriously.

The Italian's involvement in negotiations has freed up Real sports chief Predrag Mijatovic to travel to London this week for talks with Arsenal over a deal for Jose Reyes.

Baldini's trip to France was to open up dialogue with Lyon and Guerra. The Italian is confident in the early days of next week formal negotiations between the clubs will begin.

Breaking news is that Real Madrid and Lyon is agree. €26 million is the price.

Not official yet because Diarra and Madrid shall deal in the personal contract first.

Now Real look pretty much set for the new season, and for the challenge to stop Barcelona.

Any of you have an idea on Capello's line-up ?

I am not 100 % sure yet.

---------------Casillas

Cicinho - Ramos - Cannavaro - Carlos

Beckham - Emerson - Diarra - Robinho

-------Ronaldo-------Nistelrooy

But then we have Raul, Cassano, Guti, Baptista, Woodgate...they're missing and offensive midfielder and Guti is that. Ronaldo is still out with injures so Raul or Cassano will take his place.

Madrid is missing a player like Kaka. They have only Guti as Zidanes old role. Perhaps they should play Emerson - Guti - Diarra on the midfield. They have delivered some bad results the last two days in a tournament in Cadiz too.

They have a very good squad with a lot of stars on the bench, but you can't run in a team in so short time. They have new managment, president, manager, coaches and many new faces in Emerson, Cannavaro, Nistelrooy and Diarra.

I would play like this:

..................Casillas
Cicinho...Ramos...Cannavaro...R.Carlos
......Emerson...........Diarra
.......................Guti
...Raul.............................Robinho
..................Nistelrooy

i think its gonna be

--------------------iker-------------

Salgado-----Ramos--- Canna-----Carlos

Emerson --------Diarra

Cilchino --------------------Robinho

----Ronaldo ----------Rudd

Or something like that

i think beckham will be droped. raul wount play as much. if kaka comes they have to many options its only good for them. THey could have a league squad and a champions squad

You know i think they brought emerson thinking they woudnt get diarra but now they have there man i think emerosn be used for champions league and diarra only for league or something proberly not in the same team thus getting another attacking player like Baptister on.

And what a honor for sergi ramos for experince playing along side canna.

Very good tactic, Oliver!

However, I hate playing with one striker and when you have both Cassano, Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo, Raul and Baptista in the squad, they have to play with at least two strikers on top.

But I really liked this one:

..................Casillas
Cicinho...Ramos...Cannavaro...R.Carlos
......Emerson...........Diarra
.......................Guti

perhaps

Ronaldo - Van Nistelrooy - Cassano

I Think Capello will give Cassano much time this season. And Baptista can also play in Guti's role. Emerson and Diarra are busboys on the midfield.
