Two new players to Real Madrid
Los Merengues have signed River Plates Carlos Diogo and Osasunas Pablo Garcia.
Carlos Diogo is a rightback, but can play in many other positions. He played regular both for River Plate and Argentina this season.
Pablo Garcia is a deffensive midfielder and will relieve Gravesen/Helguera on the midfield.
I'm happy that they got deffensive backup. Carlos Diogo, Michel Salgado, Walter Samuel, Jonathan Woodgate, Ivan Helguera, Roberto Carlos and Walter Samuel + Thomas Gravesen and Pablo Garcia is not that bad deffensive players.
But, I'm very unsure on Pablo Garcia. I'm glad if they bought him in for a deffensive backup, but I don't hope he takes Gravesen/Helgueras place.

he would only take gravesen or helgueras place if he played better than them...which is unlikely.
how old is he? he could be their long term replacement.

Real Madrid have announced the signings of Uruguayan pair Pablo Garcia and Carlos Diogo.
Both players will be presented to the media next week, and will take part in the club’s July tour of the United States, China, Japan and Thailand.
>> Carlos Diogo is only 22 years old, and has played both for River Plate in Argentina and Uruguay. He is a perfect sign. He can be backup for Salgado, the central defence and on the midfield. He is also a hot player for the future and have signed a five years contract.
Pablo Garcia, if I dont remember wrong, is 29 years old. IMO you can find both positive and negative sides with that. He is bought in as a sub. He has good routine and was one of Osasunas best player this season.

I have read and hear about Solari to Inter in many years now. Solari is a great backup, so I hope he stay for another season.

Great, great player....but too unstable!
I don't think he will be Figos replacer. I hope they buy in Robinho or Joaquin. Solari is left side, and I hope he will get plenty of matches for Madrid next season. Very great sub player.
Many possibilitys on the midfield now.
Zidane, Figo, Beckham, Garcia, Gravesen, Helguera, Solari, Guti, Borja Fernanzes and Diogo.

Santos president wants £30 million for Robinho. I think that is too mutch, espesially in todays transfersmarket. Can The Gunners match that offer?
A other thing is that he wants to play for Real Madrid. I have read 15-20 differeces newspapers, Spanish, Brazilians, Norwegians etc.. who have interview him and he only thinking of Real Madrid. I think Santos shoud accept Real Madrids offer on £20 - £25 million if he wants to leave.
