Real line up River raid
Real Madrid are considering a move for Uruguayan youngster Carlos Diogo with Santiago Solari poised to join Internazionale.
The 21-year-old currently plays for River Plate in Argentina and has been one of the sensations of the Clausura Championship.
Despite being right-footed, Diogo plays on the left flank and has been lined up as a possible replacement for Solari.
The Argentine finally looks set to end his five-year stay at Real this summer and a move to Inter is expected to be rubber-stamped in the near future.
Diogo is the second Uruguayan to be linked with Real in recent times with Osasuna's defensive midfielder Pablo Garcia also having been mooted as a target for Los Merengues.
The youngster admits he has heard nothing from Real personally, but would jump at the chance to join the Primera titans.
"Sincerely, I know nothing, nobody has said anything to me," he told Marca.
"It's a great pride that a club as big as Real Madrid are interested in me. The possibility of signing would be a dream.
"It is a team full of stars who are always fighting for the best possible.
"My intention is to keep doing well at River and see what happens in the future."
