Jose Antonio Camacho and some of the "galacticos" started a quarrel, and Camacho feelt that the team players dident do what he told them to do.
Camacho are a special person, and if he first says something, he never changes on it! He asked Florentino to quit the contract, and he accepted that.
Florentino Perez gave Jose Antonio Camacho the responsibility to lead Real Madrid, and he fault.
Camacho directed Madrid in 6 matches. 4 wins and 2 defeats. Jose Antonio Camacho will continue in Real Madrid, but in a another role.

Not the players? They haven't been "Galacticos", that's for sure. It's not down solely to them, but they are getting outplayed and need to bare their fair share of the responsibility.

Hi Barcelona1899, nice to see u again!
Perez gave Camacho full power to manage Real Madrid, and he failed.
Perez has give Real Madrid two Champion Leauge titles and two La Liga + div supercup etc.. and he has build up Real Madrid to the biggest footballclub in the world.
Only diamonds are forever, it will always come a decline, and I think its good for Real Madrid.

Thanks, nice to be here.
So it was Camacho's decision to bring in Michael Owen? I seem to remember Camacho calling for a defensive midfielder. I think Camacho deserves his share of the blame, though certainly not all of it.
Perez has done well since he took over, but he's done poorly in the last year or so. In terms of players, he's not done well in the market. He's bought players who will generate revenue, but not necessarily win titles. Then you have to consider that he got rid of Del Bosque who was doing just fine. I'm not being critical to take the piss. Laporta has made his gafs too, but overall Laporta has done pretty well.
I think a decline is needed for Perez or someone else to wake up and realize that your squad needs a major overhaul.

Hey.. Camacho get Woodgate and Walter Samuel. Albert Celades and Ivan Helguera are deffensive midfielders. Both you and I know what Helguera can do in that position.
I dont think that Michael Owen has something to do with this. The season is long, and injures + out of fit is normal. 4 attackers are normal, and Owen was very usual today.
Camacho put demands before the season, and he wanted independent, and he get that. Look at Real Madrids squad, they have players like Morientes, Guti, Solari, Owen, Pavon, Bravo, Celades, Cesar, Juanfran at the bench + players like Zidane, Figo, Helguera, Carlos, Samuel, Beckham, Raul etc etc..
Real Madrid have a good enough squad for this season to win La Liga or CL. But La Liga is the best leauge in the world, and when a down-periode joins Madrid, the other teams fight hard.
Los Merengues need a real boss, a manager like Bianchi perhaps. He like offensive football!

IMO you still have a strong squad in places, but you need to get realistic about it. Zidane and Figo aren't washed up, but they're not spring chickens either. Their days are numbered and replacements will be expensive. Beckham and Roberto Carlos are getting up there too. You have quality depth, but not where you need it. You still have a shaky defense and NO defensive midfielders.
No matter what anyone says about Camacho, he didn't get what he wanted. He wanted a bonafide defensive midfielder and when Viera said no (because Perez wouldn't pay him as he should have), Perez bought him Woodgate. Camacho also didn't want Owen. I think Owen was a decent enough signing (which puts me in the minority), but it's not what the manager wanted.

Ivan Helguera are a deffensive midfielder, and both Samuel and Woody are quality defenders
Viera? i dont know.. he is a star, but another galactico at the midfield..?
Camacho was happy with the squad before this season.
Figo has played well for Real Madrid, but both Zidane and Raul is out of fit. Robert Carlos is a good player too, but they are out of fit. Im not suprised that clubs beat Real Madrid. Look at Greece in EC, look at Porto in CL. Where was AC Milan, ManUtd, Real Madrid?
- The president sucks? He he.. even a barca supporter can say that Perez have done a great job for Real Madrid. Please tell me a club with same trofees as Perez have with Real Madrid on 4 years.

Woody is good, but it'll be interesting to see him tested in La Liga and the CL. I read somewhere that there's some sort of cocaine story on him which could catastrophic for you guys. Samuel is good, but he needs an adequate partner at the back.
Camacho did want Viera and yes you could use him. He'd start easily and someone would have to sit and deal with it.
