Gennaro Gattuso has found an unusual way to spend his winter holidays. While teammates have flown to Florida for a warm Christmas, he has returned to Scotland to train with Rangers.
The Milan midfielder, who played for the Ibrox outfit in 1997-98, is in Glasgow to visit the family of his wife Monica and has been allowed to train with the Scottish team, and will do so until his return to Italy next week.
The 29-year-old defensive midfielder has previously stated that he would like to play once again with Rangers before the end of his career.

This guy is amazing he doesn't stop. Great that Rangers allowed him and I am sure some of the players are learning a thing or two from him.

Gattuso trains with Rangers

"Milan don't play again until the end of January so I arranged to spend a couple of days at Murray Park to keep up my fitness. But I'm not coming back. I'm still a Milan player.
"I have always remained friends with Walter (Smith) and Coisty (Ally McCoist) and when I spoke to them they hadn't changed one little bit.
"I also had a good chat with Ian Durrant and Barry Ferguson, who were at Rangers when I first arrived from Italy.
"I was so impressed with Murray Park as it's the training facility a big club like Rangers deserve."
